Thanks Taxi, yes the kids went hysterical when DH got the drill out to open it! While he was out hiding it in the woods, he rang DD1 and put on a Pirate voice. To say he used to not like kids - he did a pretty good job!
Kitchen blizted - including oven, hob, shelves and extractor :A
Carpet cleaner applied, just having 5 minutes for it to work, before I set to work scrubbing.
Bottles emptied, Beds made, ironing board upI really hate ironing, but have promised myself a trip to the garden centre if I get it all done.
Right back to it, will catch up later0 -
you sound busy0

Well I managed to dodge the ironing
The kids were watching Bugsy Malone with Dad and I nipped round to a friend's to drop off some wine for her birthday.
Had a cuppa there and on the way back went to the garden centre and picked up some plants for pots and hanging baskets. I asked little DD if she'd like to help and she said yes. Then DD1 wanted to join in. Of course, this sent little DD into orbit! She starting having a right fit that she wanted Mummy all to herself :wall: Sweet Lord - can I not have just *one day* of peace???
Luckily DH had done almost all the ironing :j Have raked the leaves off the lawn and drive and am going to chill for a couple of hours before sorting out the school stuff for tomorrow.
Have a good evening all x0 -

Yes, but then DH and little DD walked in from the supermarket and while I was typing that, DD1 was playing with the recycling and water - when I specifically asked her not to do it there - and drenched the table and table cloth I had put on for dinner
Of course, I went mad at her for ignoring me, DH and I had a row, I'm in the dog house for sitting on the internet (for 5 minutes - just the wrong 5 minutes) when I should have been supervising her.
