Oh dear Travelman,

you totally misunderstood my last post. It was in no way a personal attack on you, i think you do a great job on here. I was simply answering the question Payless had posted. I did add a smiley to indicate it was said in a light hearted way. No sour grapes intended, honest. If i'm totally frank i enjoy giving advice now and again but i don't have the time to spend ages on here.

Travel Counsellors are going from strength to strength and the phones are Hot, Hot, Hot so i really don't have time to check on MSE as often as i did back in the beggining(hense my infrequent amount of posts).

However when i am on MSE and i see a post asking about the price of something i know i can give a discount on then i am more than happy to help fellow MSEers, as i have done a few times already.

I am on here to try and help people save money and nothing else. I am employed by a fantastic forward thinking company with state of the art technology who deal woth over 400 operators, making sure we have the means to get our customers the best deal possible. I have a fantastic loyal customer base and also take dozens of calls from new customers every day which unfortunately means i don't have time to help on MSE as much as i used to.

I feel the same as you Travelman and life is too short por petty bickering, so lets leave it at that shall we.

Once again i am sorry if i offended you ar anyone else on MSE. I am not like that, really i'm not.

Keep up the great work you do on here for people, you will go far i'm sure. I hope we can be friends and work together to ensure that all MSEers get the best possible deals on their well deserved holidays.

Oh yes and i agree with Payless, who made me see that i have probably been cutting off my nose to spite my face as far as re-registering goes(I was very attached to my stars payless ) So i am going to re-register(hoorah i hear you all say), and maybe even give myself a more proffesional name. What do you think of TravelWoman ;D(only joking)

We're well busy as well-suddenly it's gone from all canaries to mainstream summer stuff & the prices for May are crackers!!!

Do you guys have ATOL as this is where it's happening at the moment...I think (with the exception of Some of the more obscure long haul destinations) the days of the package holiday are numbered....

I don't mean to be rude but this post is just a BLATENT advert for your company!

I'm sure the board members on here don't give a hoot about 'enterprise awards'.

Travelman has not put up a lengthy post saying how great his company is or what they offer-he's just put up interesting/topical posts & has been giving advice.

Please tell me why you feel the need to 'sell' your company so much?

I'm sure that other board members will see this as a blatent advert. travelman did not ask for detailed information on 'your' company-nor did we.

Sorry to go on but this board is for 'tips,queries & discussions' not a full page advert for how good your company is.

Again i was just answering another MSEers question.
Yes maybe i gave a bit too much info(i copied and pasted it from our website for quickness), i wouldn't normally write an essay. I don't have to advertise our company as it's success speaks for itself. TRAVELMAN gave some info on his company but you didn't have a go at him. (no offence to you TRAVELMAN)
The company i work for, Instant Holidays, is part of Future travel which in turn is part of United Co-Op travel group, & they were the 1st company to do homeworking (they started 8 years ago). having done a few years in Call Centres (which I HATED as you have no time to chat to your customers & REALLY search!) this seemed an ideal opportunity for me to build a client bank/business-doing something I enjoy.

You also commented on a short post of mine on another thread accusing me of trying to make money just because Payless asked the question, "Are these the cheapest disney tickets", and i replied that i could offer them at the same price.

TRAVELMAN has advertised lots of holidays on here(sorry to involve you in this TRAVELMAN) and you haven't said a word.

I don't see how you can speak for the rest of the board members and i disagree with you because i think the status of a company does matter to customers.

I'm not on here for the good of my health. It would be far easier for me to spend this time doing extra hours at work picking up calls from busy people who don't care about saving money and book our products at full price.
I post on here because i get a kick out of helping people get the best possible price as i love getting the best price myself. If that means sharing some of my commision with them in order to do that (as i have done) then i will.
I hope there are people that are interested in the services we can provide and if i'm saving people a bit of cash and making a bit for myself, well wheres the harm in that. After all it is a money saving site.

I take understand your answers & I know Travelman has put some prices up but it's the whole page on how good your company is that bugs me. travelman just introduced himself with his 1st post about packaging, only about 4 lines-not a whole page.

It just seems strange that your frequency in posting has increased since travelmans popularity has increased & your initial comments about travelman 'misleading' the board members (about who was the first company-who cares!) really annoyed me.

I got a great deal from him & feel that his articles have been of genuine help & interest to people.

I've said my piece now & am off to france for 3 days now so I'll be away.


I'm not replying any more on this matter lets just leave it there.

Morning all!

If any MSE 'posters' require quotes from me can you please include the following information to allow us to find you the best 'moneysaving' deal!

1-All airports you can fly from
2-Duration
3-1st/alst dates to leave UK
4-Are night flights acceptable ? (Big point as night flights usually cheaper!)
5-party size & kids ages
6-Board basis you require (ie self-catering, all-inclusive, h/b, bb...etc)
7-Type of resort, ie quiet, lively
8-Any resorts you WOULD NOT go to
9-Any other neccesary factors, ie must have kids club, pool, be within 'x' metres from sea...etc
10-Max. budget!!! Now I know there is a preconceived idea that if you say maximum £1000 we'll quote £999-99-NOT the case! It just saves us all time, for example if you were looking at peak Season or Whitsun for £125 pp it's a non-starter. Just 'as cheap as posssible' is not a help I'm afraid.
