The 6 night Moon Palace deal (£759 pp) is on 27/4 ex, Manchester, is all-inclusive & including flight meals & direct transfers-no card charges or booking fees.

13 night on the same day is £1349-sounds expensive but compared to Thomson who want £1684 for it (15/4) it's a good deal!

Gatwick is between £50 & £70 pp more expensive in the above dates.

Obviously the above are subject to availability & change-but at the moment the flight prices for this date are great!

Travelman, we are looking to go to Gozo for 2 weeks departing anytime between 24/7/04 & 23/8/04 for two adults and two children (5 & 6), preferably something with a pool. Unfortunately, we are tied to school holidays, but other than that quite flexible.

Gozo is tricky as we don't have any Agents who give us accomodation only rates & lots of the small specialists DON'T deal with Agents.

Best bet is to shop around on the web/high street-if you post your best price IF it's an operator we deal with (& many are unfortunately only direct sell) I can try & better the price for you.

Thanks for responding so quickly Chris. We are really stuck as to what to do and where to go this year. :-/
Would prefer to stay in Europe, somewhere relatively quiet with good beach nearby, happy to go self catering. We loved Tuscany & Corsica and took our own car as love travelling. We are looking for something with a similar feel and very open to suggestions, if you can spare the time.

What about s/c in Gran canaria?? Some lovely scenery inland & if you hire a car you can even go over to Fuerteventura? Prices would be competitive-you woulg get a pool but not a private pool.

Other area that springs to mind would be Costa Brava-we can get some good private Villas there & if you have a communal pool it'd be cheaper for you.Loveley scenery & the pyrenees/Andorra are driveable.

Do you have an approx. maximum figure in mind for say, 2 weeks s/c + car?

let me know & I'll get you some prices. For peak season the above are the best 'moneysaving' destinations!

I'm planning to go to Corfu at the beginning of May. The hotel I'm interested in is costas golden beach in Agios georgios north. Flying from Birmingham. Two adults. thomson are quoting £363 pp. can you do any better.

Hi-sussed out it's 1 week on 2/5! Don't generally do price matches as it becomes a bit of a dutch auction but I could do this for £355 pp inc all flt meals, sv room, 1 week, Birmingham 2/5-thomson, BUT I have another suggestion.

For £327 pp i can get you a 4*+ (the Thomson one is 3 grade) at the Palm Beach Hotel inc. private taxi transfer, 3/5, 1430 depart Birmingham, rtn land 2200. It's on the Beach in St george South-huge beach & similar 'charecter' to St george North. E-mail me (link by the 'smiley' under my name by this post-quicker than instant messaging!) if you wish to book the 1st one or want more info on the 2nd one!
