Afternoon all .... had 36 hours of misery... all cos I ate strawberries ... I love strawberries ... I always eat strawberries ...so why did they decide to attack me after all these years  I ate a bowl at 9 pm and by 11 I was a mass of itchy bloated spots, swollen eyes and pouted lips . but I am better now. Only do I try strawberries again ????? I love strawberries

Were they organic or is it possible that they had been treated in something, that could have been what you had the reaction to

The amount of blood was shocking, he had it every where and every where he touched. My hall stairs have never looked so clean as they had to be scrubbed to get it off!

Choccy Welcome back and congratulations on being a grandma :D

    Welcome all the newbies

I think I have missed something what are all these pens you are going on about? Not pro markers surely? I don't have time to blend and colour it takes me about a day per card just to choose the paper :rotfl:

Well have just about packed for my travels, crammed everything into my backpack, not sure though why I am carrying all the heavy toiletries and the camera bag as well..... think I need to offload into OH's bag :D

Thanks Melissa. My LO is 7 months Sunday and cut the 1st 2 teeth about 6 weeks ago. She dribbling constantly and chewing her hands so hopefully it won't be too long. Hope your LO doesn't suffer too much when hers are cutting, horrible isn't it? Started following your blog, some of your cards are gorgeous!

Picnic, weird bout the last names  I managed to change the background but haven't got so far as to add banners or links. That's my next task lol!

OAP, my sister is allergic to strawberries and tomatoes. She can't even touch 1 or she comes out all blotchy. Hope your not allergic, how awful if you love them.

Vic, your DS sounds a bit like my eldest DD. She's totally accident prone and always covered in bruises, she can fall over from standing still. :rotfl:Hope he's feeling better soon!

Have made a card for the challenge, just got to get a pic taken. Will get round to it in the morning.......hopefully lol! Everyone on this thread is so friendly and welcoming, think I'm gonna enjoy being a part of it!

Picnic - thanks for the compliment! Your "pants" card is fab - love the stitching!

Flourgirl - I'll have to have a look for the neenah card then - I'm using craftwork cards' stuff at the minute, I find though that it bleeds sometimes when I try to blend. I really like the idea of buying the colour sets of the pens and that you don't have to figure out what colours to blend together - I think they're offering 4 sets for £25 so I think I'll get that offer when they're released, can't wait to hear what you think of them! Your challenge card is gorgeous - love the shape of it - I'll have to try and do a different easel card - I've only even done plain square ones.

Viclspence - bless your LO - hope he's feeling a bit better today!

OAP - I love strawberries too! It does sound like you might have had a reaction to a chemical on the strawberries, I'm into watermelon at the minute though - I just bought another one today to share with DS later.

Sadie - its so horrible when they're teething isn't it - you feel so useless? Tilly about has her whole fist in her mouth some days - I don't really want to give her paracetamol though because she's so little. We used to give Elliot a toothbrush to chew on which seemed to help him a bit.

Mad-frog - hope you have fun on your travels. Here's a link to the new pens - they're released tomorrow.

Rusty - your teachers' gifts are fabulous - I love the angels keyrings - were they hard to make? And your colouring is fantastic - you must be so pleased with it!

I bought some of this a while ago and it's fab, goes through my very tempremental printer too ;) It isn't as white as the Ryman's coated white card but I do like it. If you buy 3 packs you get 60 A4 sheets for a tenner which isn't bad.

DS2's last day of preschool tomorrow, feels very weird but I am so looking forward to the start of the summer holidays. I will probably be tearing my hair out by this time next week ;)

I am way behind with blogs this week, hope to catch up over the weekend x
