Hi ladies, haven't had much time the last few days as my LO hasn't been sleeping very well. She's teething really bad but seems to hit her worse in the middle of the night. The first two cut really easy but the next one is making her suffer......and mummy too
Hi Picnic, I have recently started a blog and am also finding it very confusingSo many things to remember lol, we will get there in the end!! Also noticed you are from Walsall, yay me too :T
What a spend flourgirl, think my OH would keel over if I spent that much of crafty bits lol! Hope you got plenty of gorgeous bits to have a fiddle with.
lizalloareds, I have always wanted to visit Paris, have fun!
Happy crafting all0 -
Hi ladies
Can anyone recommend a really good pair of crimping scissors? I have a friend who is making wedding invites and she bought a bad pair which has ruined some pricey paper.
All suggestions welcome!0 -

Flourgirl smashing pics wot a lot of lovely stash - hmm I spot an embossing mat suitable for the big shot as well - let me know how you get on with it as I may need one seeing as how I am carp at trying to emboss with my nestie - lol xx0 -
Evening all! I haven't been up to much really - can't believe the kids finish school on Friday - yeah to the lie-ins but I'm not looking forward to me being a referee all through the holiday to my oldest two - they're either the best of friends or they hate each other! I've been feeling a bit down (well even more so) about my weight lately so I joined weightwatchers on Saturday - its going okay so far - I'm just filling up on fruit, and because I'm being so good in the day I can treat myself to a chocolate bar at night!
I was brave the other day and dug out my sewing machine (the one that's been stuck in the cupboard since I was given it) and actually figured out how to thread it! I was so chuffed - I only got it to use on my cards - so from now on you'll be seeing stitching on everything!
Rusty - thanks for the update on Jennie - sounds like the cards really cheered her up - thanks for organising it all! I am so jealous that you go to go to one of the colouring tutorials - by the look of your images it was well worth the money - they look fantastic!
Viclspence - has DS been up to anything naughty this week! Mine doesn't really do anything specific - just generally makes a mess!
Rainmac - I hope you're feeling a bit better - the lousy weather doesn't help - I got drenched yesterday taking DS to school.
Dragonllew - congrats on your win!
Flourgirl - sounds like you had a fab time at Doncaster - I've been having a quick look at those pens - are they as good as they seem???? I'm thinking of buying a couple of sets on Friday as I think my colouring really lets my cards down and although I've been trying my attempts at blending with my promarkers are a bit hit and miss!
Choccy - welcome back and congrats on becoming a nanny!
Mad-frog - congrats on your lottery win - I've never won anything on it, mind you I hardly ever buy a ticket. You were very good only ordering 2 pads - I found it hard cutting it down to 7!
Artydoll - Sorry to hear about your family trouble, hope it all gets sorted soon! Gorgeous "today's card" - love the image! Your challenge card is so pretty - love the swirl of rhinestones!
Picnic - thanks for the link - the packs were a fab price - I resisted though as I would have had too many duplicates, although I should have got a couple for presents. I'm now following you too - your butterfly bear card is really cute - love the trail of butterflies across the top. Your other cards are fab too - love the glitter on the hedgehogs - really eye-catching!
Sadie204 - welcome to the thread! Sorry to hear about your little one teething - my DD has just started - she's always chewing on her fingers. There's some great cards on your blog - love the forever friends ones!
OAP1945 - Stunning box - love the butterfly!
Julie03 - I hope your Mum is feeling better after her op. Your DS and neice are so cute - love the name "Harrison". Beautiful get well card - love the flowers. Lovely challenge card - again fab flowers!
Fifi folle - its great to hear from you!
Bikelesschick - welcome!
KMS - its great to hear from you too!
Lizalloareds - I'm so jealous - card making and Paris together!
Sorry for the huge post!0
