Flourgirl - obviously your OH doesn't understand the importance of these pens - I don't think mine would either, mind you if it was a new xbox game then things would be different.

I have finally posted up my card for the Wings and Things challenge, I hope I'm not too late to enter Have even attempted to enter some others!

I think thats most men, they don't always understand the important things in life haha! Mines not too bad tbh but would still take any computer game over sticking bits of paper together!

Carmin - I meant to say yesterday that your wedding car is amazing - no wonder it took you so long to make - there's so much detail on it - and I love the little suitcase!!!

Sadie - your challenge card is fab - its really clever how you've used the sequins for the dragonfly's body! Love the blue shiny stripes on your xmas card and your squares card is so pretty with all those pastel colours! Your daughter is clever can't believe she's only 3 - her writing is neater than my OH's!

Have just dipped in at the end of this thread, will try get around to catching up soon (I may be some time!)
I made Xmas cards one year but I am in no way an accomplished card maker. I'd love to be as they are amazing!
Went into hobbycraft yesterday for 1st time ever & wanted everything lol.
So ... Last night I made the invitations for our wedding! Just need to do the insert page now. Could you ladies & gents (?) advise on wether to just glue a page into the right inside half of the card or kind of fix a double page (covering left and right) like u get in nice birthday cards (like a card in a card kind of effect) etc. Sorry don't know correct name but I am sure you experts know what I mean!
Any advice please?
Ps I am quite pleased with what I've achieved so far, just simple but effective I think!

Hi all ,been a really happy and sad kind of day for both myself and my Oh today ,I have to share with you all if you dont mind .
Our great grandson turned 7 today,had a great visit to his little party,tinged with real sadness though as he is leaving my daughters home[she has had court custody of him since his second birthday ]later this evening ,to return to his real Mums home.
We will miss him greatly ,especially my Oh who has been extra close to him [he loves his Gabby ,as he has always called him .It will be a big wrench for myself and my hubby ,we dont really see eye to eye with his mother[long story ,you really wouldn't want to know]so we will only get to see him when he visits his Nana .
We wish him all the luck in his new home and hope he will be really happy.
Sorry for the sob story ,big breath, thanks for reading.

oh arty thats so sad x just remember that you will get to see him just not as often as before. will you be able to phone him? keep your chin up hun (((hugs)))

Artydoll - I'm so sorry to hear about your little fellow leaving - it must be really hard for you and your OH - sending you hugs!

Neenaww - Hi and welcome! I personally prefer it when the inserts are folded inside but it doesn't really matter either way - just choose which you like best - I hope you'll show us some pics when they're finished!

Flourgirl - did your pens arrive today? I'm dying to know what you think of them - I haven't ordered any yet!

Does Helen still use this page? ...what I am looking for is anyone I have done wedding invitations for before and that as been pleased with them to go to mandys crafty bits on face book and review me...I am trying to get set up selling them and its hard work without recommendations. All my things are way below what others are charging but its like flogging a dead horse lol + any tips ? I would be grateful for any help and feedback also on my wedding things HELP!!! thanks xx

I am so behind in blob land that I really must walk the blob land walk of shame I haven't even got round to posting anything let alone catching up will promise to be better on my return.

All packed now special thanks to OH for his 'help' :mad: as he is down the pub so am now off to join him and grab a bite to eat
