Ribbon is sheer and 1 cm wide, I tried pritt stick but scared it'll fall of and then tried bostik extra strong adhesive but it's showing through!

I too would use double sided tape, should be fine. I've never used a glue gun but would possibly try a super strong tacky glue like Anita's, it dries clear and is really strong. Have just noticed something here called ribbon glue, never used it but it may do the job?

Yoo hoo, hope you are all well!! Right I have a question I have seen recently on a couple of blogs (rainmac yours might be one) where the image is printed onto a die cut shape but their legs or arms may be coming out of the die cut shape (iykwim) I just wondered how this could be achieved would their legs (say) be decoupaged on??? As I cant see how you could do it without chopping their legs/arms off?? Does this make sense??

(Thought I'd seen similar on rainmacs blog on the 30th May 2011 the magicians hat)

Cut the image out and mount it straight onto the diecut ;) I am in the middle of something like this at the minute if it turns out as I want it to. you can either leave a small amount of white around the image or you can carefully cut around it.

    Does that make sense?

Rainmac - Not sure how the ribbon glue would work? it says it doesn't seep through the ribbon but surely that would depend on what ribbon you use?

Thanks rusty, thought it could be that but when I was trying to look at the images it just didnt look as if the image was mounted on it, it looked quite flush iykwim.

You can also do it this way for example if it was a magicians hat you would just cut down the edges of the hat to where you die would cut, then position the die over the image with the tip of the hat which you trimmed over the top of the die hope that makes sense

Just keep it flush against the die cut, if that makes sense, if I do it then I use a quickie glue pen or something similar

Is this how you do it? I tried this way and wrecked my image as it had a print where it had gone through the cutter over the nestie! :(

It has taken me all day to colour 2 images and cut them out, this colouring lark looks fab but it takes so bloomin long!

I've never had a problem with it marking my image perhaps it depends on the thickness of the card your using? the card I use for images is quite thin.

Rainmac Sorry to hear you didn't get an interview their loss I am sure you will get something even better

Marg I usually choose my image, although sometimes it's the paper I choose first, always choose my paper before I colour and I like to try and match pretty flowers too!

Artydoll How about some chocolate or a large flower maybe

ali.b - I've seen a tutorial somewhere that shows very clearly how to do this but I can't find it just now - I'll keep looking..........
