Afternoon ladies, well I am well chuffed with myself I have just cleaned/sorted ds2's bedroom - its taken 5 hours omg if you had seen it for a 7 year old it was like a teenagers I've found about 6 odd socks 3 pairs of socks 2 vests and umpteen ripped up tissues it was minging I spat my dummy out ages ago and said I wouldnt tidy it up ever again after we decorated it and he made a right mess but I've cracked and sorted it but I'm going to have a serious word with him .

Marg - lol at your oh and the dishwasher mine is the same :rotfl:I never put things in the right place.

Another DH here whose obsessed with a neat and tidy dishwasher OMG its spreading!!! He is the same with the bathrooms, nothing is allowed on the bath side ie shampoo bubblebath etc he says thats what the cabinet is for!! I thought it was just for show :rotfl::rotfl:

Well done ali I hope your DS appreciates your hard work. Wait until they are teenagers and you are moving coffee mugs full of penicillin!! When my eldest moved out I found cups and dishes I had forgotten we had lol

OMG flourgirl, I have all that to look forward to, NOT Ali my DS1 is an untidy so and so too, his room is a pit. I go in there routinely to have a blitz but I can't clean it every week cos it takes too long to get through the mess. He takes after his dad

Dishwasher ordered but they say they can't confirm delivery date yet, hope it's not too long.

i have 2 pits in my house, one belongs to a 17yr old and is normally vile, with empty pot noodles and cups, i am seriously running low on forks, wonder where they are? the other is for my 4yr old and 8yr old and its not so vile just looks like a bomb hit it.

cant remember who set the latest challenge but i was inspired by the name swirls and pearls and decided to make cupcakes with the same theme for the summer fete

busy week this week have two birthdays this week, so two cakes to bake, a pokemon one and a white chocolate drizzle cake
have made one card for the birthdays, for a 17 year old male, i find the male cards a bit trickier as i like girly stuff.

Thanks guys my day has improved somewhat thankfully more so after I was home from appointment and slept for an hour before I could face cleaning up glass and facing the world Appointment went ok. Would've been better had I not been such an anxious wreck but got through it thats main thing now umpty flumpty 'therapy' sessions to look forward to as that was just the assessment :( without turning this into a therapy sessionlol....the hardest bit was listening to what the doctor wrote on the referral....I know how mad that sounds coz everything it said was right enough but I had never heard it out loud iykwim?? anyways sorry moving on!

Haven't had time to play with my new crafty toys yet! I forgot I needed to buy some eyelets to fit first :rotfl:will give the corner chomper a go later though hopefully.

Rusty glad it arrived ok and you liked the papers I'm not all that happy with the card I made if I'm honest I !!!!!!ed it up at last minute and by trying to fix it made it worse! lol Hopefully the practice makes perfect thing may kick in with me soon lmfao

Yeah go rainmac . Glad you got a new dishwasher. My oh said we didn't need another but i got an allergy to the washing up liquid and him and the twins had to do it in turn. Didn't take long for them to shoot off to b n q and bring back a new one.lol.

I have 2 19 year olds and their bedroom is a health hazard i'm sure . Empty lucozade bottles and pepsi max cans are a huge bugbear. Banned them from taking plates and glasses up long ago. I usually close my eyes and the door and walk past but every few weeks i wait till they are away for the weekend and when they get back the hoover ,a roll of bin bags , bucket full of cloths and cleaning products and the empty laundry basket are all just inside the door waiting for them. With a note saying use me or next weekend the whole lot will be in the bin. rofl works for me.

Twinkle hope it all goes well for you and your oh gets his car sorted.

Oooh no i didn't thank you i shall have to try persuading my oh to take us.

The craft show at the race course sounds good i wonder if it'll be worth a visit i'm sure princess k wouldn't mind a day out i'd just have to take my zoomer lol.
