Hi all
Sorry I havent been around much, we are having a busy time at the moment. DD does swimming twice a week this half term and twice a week doing Army Cadets, so we are here there and everywhere. Then inbetween all the ferrying about I have to fit in work!
I havent had time to read back on the thread, but will try and catch up tomorrow. We have our village summer fayre today and I am on a stall for a few hours.
Rusty - I sent the card a few days ago, so hopefully you should have it by now.

Another boring day here - the kids have just finished their lunch and left mess everywhere, Elliot is by far the worst - there is a constant trail of crumbs following him.
Rusty - thanks for passing Jenny's message on. I've just finished her card today but I'm waiting on some box envelopes to be delivered that I ordered from ebay before I can post it off, hopefully they'll arrive in the post today so that I can send it off to you on Monday.
Rainmac - good luck with the application - did you maange to get any crafting done yesterday??
Flourgirl - your challenge card is gorgeous - you've set a high standard to follow!!!!
Craftygranny - that's great news about Adam - wishing him well!

OAP - sorry to hear about your traumatic day yesterday.0 -
Don't forget my blog candy giveaway, please come and enter x
Mel, I did get some crafting done thanks, couple of cards, one that was needed for the party today, nothing like leaving it to the last minute! My boys never cease to amaze me with the amount of mess they can make, it's a bit like feeding time at the zoo at meal times in my house.
Marg, I saw that Beko online and liked the idea that it was quiet, please let me know how you get on with it x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
evening all,
What a lovely day today, bit of shopping in the am and then pm a trip to Lossiemouth to attend the Armed Forces Day parade the sun shone through the clouds and we got a 30 min Red Arrows display over the village and beach. It was so nice to get a good day and the parade was really well attended , mind you it should be as Lossie are one of the RAF bases threatened with closure. Goodness only knows what will happen in the area if that happens 25 to 30% of the jobs in this area will go:eek:
Hope all our poorlies are holding their own and the families are bearing up.
off to blog hop (if it works)0 -

MORNING EVERYONE
I'm hoping today will be better than yesterday. My DS (who is only 3) decided to make his own breakfast yesterday and a 'card for nanna'. When we came downstairs he had filled the cereal box full of milk and added some craftworkcard candy to it and all over the floor for the card! later we also discovered that he had 'washed' my husbands laptop with windowcleaner which promptly went bang when he switched it on. We left it to dry out and it was working last night so fingers crossed it's fine again, but it had quite a lot of stuff on it that hadn't been backed up!
No cards been made this weekend, will hopefully make some today. Didn't buy the imagine in the end, decided to be sensible. Did buy some stuff in the sale tho, got some hunkydory bits and a memory book kit, cost a lot less that the imagine!Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0 -

Hello - just a quickie from me - hoping 'normal service' (whatever that is) will be resulmed after the funeral which is to be next Monday - 17 days after my Granny died. It's just too long to have that hanging over you.
Spent all of yesterday at the school summer fair so am exhausted. Have loads of piccies to blog but never seem to get time to do it.
So -a quick question..........
My Auntie asked me to do the orders of service for the funeral but I couldn't face it or the pressure so have agreed instead to make some 'In Memoriam Cards' which will be distributed at the funeral if they're ready or afterwards if not. I have one from when my Great Grandmother died in 1951 which I really love. It's a simple thing with 'In Memoriam' with a border around it on the front, a bible quote on the inside front and details , dates etc on the inside back. The only thing is I want it to be decent quality card and my printer won't do it. Does anyone know of anywhere that would print out something like that from a memory stick?0
