Just wanted to say thank you ladies and to let you know he went back to his ward at 5.15 nurse said he hasn't come round properly yet but they are fairly confident that things went well. It's just wait and see now.

Twinkle Crafting behind bars might be difficult how would you manage without scissors, paper cutters, pokey tools , guillotines scalpels etc. lol Better to let him live .

Craftygranny and The Wife I have been thinking and praying for you and yours today.

Flourgirl the postie should be calling tomorrow, since its RM maybe Monday. Hope you like your prize and I love your new challenge.

Well we went into town today to post the above:D but o'dear ... we had 2 very near misses at the 2 roundabouts between home and the car park when did the "give way to traffic coming from the right" law get dumped Then this poor old (well older than me) lady tripped and fell in front of the car I was so sure ..!!.. but thank God hubby had been doing the 5mph in the car park bit. she was cut and bruised but not by us . I think we should have stayed at home today.

So who apart from me needs a hug:) if so take one and welcome.

oap, a few weeks ago we went to a local town, about 20 minutes drive and had about 6 very near accidents due to idiots on the road. Sending you a big cyber hug x

Mad Frog, my school visit went well, loved the school and the head teacher so just got everything crossed that I get an interview x

flourgirl, made my challenge card last night, just need to take a pic and blob it x

DS1 is off to a party in a minute then we are going to town to look at dishwashers, ours has broken down :( It's my fil 60th birthday in a couple of weeks and we've just ordered 2 tickets for the World Super Bike championships for his present - £103 , I need a lie down  Ordering the new dishwasher is going to have to wait I think but still going to suss out the one I want :(

craftygranny - hope Adam is feeling good today. xx

Wifey - on the wildcard that you're reading hope all went well for Paul too xx

rainmac - sorry I didn't realise DS1 did rugby & football - I got a bit mixed up (situation normal here, then). We've just had a new dishwasher - I found the Dixons on line price was the cheapest - ordered it from them - but it was Curry's that delivered it!!! All the same firm apparently. We got a Beko (very quiet one)

oap - sorry to hear of your traumatic trip to town - I hate roundabouts - think the way some folk drive on them is just typical of society's 'me me me' attitude :( - at least there were 3 'incidents' so you don't have to wait for anything else to happen.
