Gemm - its great to hear from you - sounds like you've had a lot on your plate!

Jowri - that's nice that your Mum and Dad have now got Henry - just what they need to take their minds off Max.

Artydoll - gorgeous cards as always, my favourite is your Tilda one - love the image and your butterfly. Your scones look delicious!!!!

Toms-Mom I get really annoyed when these companies say that they'll ring you and then don't - I don't see why I have to waste my time chasing them when its them that are at fault!! Glad to hear that your Mum is better and that the hospital are now being more co-operative.

RebekahR - glad to hear that you're okay!!!!!

Addams - congrats on your win!!!!

Congratulations to the latest winners :j

Tomsmom, good to see you back x

We've had a good day, OH and I had a big clear out in the boys' wardrobes and cupboards. Chucked out loads of clothes for recycling and to pass on to a friend. We made some much needed space. Then went for a quick shop and then to Pizza Express for an early tea, yum yum :)

    Hugs to everyone x

Errr, yep ;) Please do let us have a peek at what you make x

    Hey nannyboo, how are you?

Snowed under with paperwork for the minding that I don't have time to craft and hate it (and spend too much time on Farmville lol). Have been working 6 days a week from 7.30 to 5 or 6.30 so don't feel like doing anything but am going to regain my paperwork day on a Monday from March so hopefully will eventually get time to use the craft room I had made that has only been used for dumping stuff. Plus my darling hubby bought me a Gypsy and I am finally using my Cricut machine for the first time in years.

I had though forgotten how quickly this thread moves lol and started reading one day and when I came back a few days later had missed 20 pages of posts
    Kate :hello:
  • Conratulations Addams on your win. no craftiness from me yet today, still battling the NVQ demons
  • I have a day off tomorrow and it was earmarked for childminding paperwork as officially should be working but have got to make two get well cards now as my niece has had a stroke at the age of 41 and is in hospital - typically of my brother hadn't told me or mum and pure luck we have found out no idea how she is doing even though he promised to text me to let me know. Am going to have to hope around the net and look at everyones home pages for some inspiration
    Kate :hello:
  • Keep meaning to ask but I love promarkers thanks to all on here but my card (ordinary computer card) is obviously not right as they tend to bleed what card should I be using

    thank you in advance

  • Evening lovely ladies

Rusty - I hope you are not suffering in too much pain.

It's nice to see the other more infrequent posters saying hi too - Waves at Tomsmom and Gemm. Gemm I have a kindle and love it, the problem is that it doesn't make me fall asleep anymore so I'm staying up later reading! I love something that does exactly what it should do.

I popped on really to rave about Frills and Fondant. I don't know if may of you follow Debbie at Country Heart and Home but she's started a businss selling candles and lip balms (at the moment). I bought a couple of candles to see what they were like, the smells are gorgeous but the presentation of the candles is just beautiful. I hope she does well as it is all clearly made with love - just thought people might want to have a looky.

I had a bit of disaster today, I'm making wedding invitaitons (and just about every other bit to do with a wedding that is on card, menus rsvps etc) and basically came up with the most complicated design in the world! It involves Martha Stewart punch around the page in the butterfly and today my corner punch broke! Just as today was the big day for assembling as many as my wrists and hand could stand! Oh well, at least I get a couple of days off while I wait for it to come. I also can't believe I showed my friend a sample with teeny cuttlebug die cuts on it and that's what she chose - I am applying glue with a poky tool! At least I'm charging some proper money for this!

I found enough inspiration last night to complete a card for an order a friend gave me. It's in the usual place :D

I now have no more cards I need to make, so it's back to doing it for fun which will hopefully let me experiment with some different techniques as I worry that mine are looking quite samey at the moment :o
  • Morning everyone, sorry I've not been on for the last few days, we went up to Aberdeen on Saturday and hubby got a parking ticket so that will be £30 less to spend at the SECC

hope everyone has a good day

betterlife I hope your DD is doing much better today - sending you hugs. Congrats on your comp too. :T

    Congratulations to todays winners :T:T

WBR Love Ellie's blog and her background is amazing!!

Melissa - Nope I've still not bought it - I need that and glue sticks but I haven't looked yet. I'm looking for 9mm wide stuff

FF When I went in October the Craft At Home stall were doing REALLY good deals on the Martha Stewart punches. LOTV stall is always good and the sizzix one was great for embossing folders. What I will say is shop around cos there was a big difference in prices when we looked.

CPS Isn't her service excellent! I was so impressed too

Jo OUCH that sounds really sore. Sending you hugs

Tomsmom Sending you hugs - it sounds like you need them (oh and a large boot for your brothers backside!)

rebekah Glad to hear you're still with us :D

Twinkledust - the cheapest place i've found for promarkers is cowling and wilcox

DTB Don't say that too loud OH is a France supporter - ooh he wasn't happy.

Congratulations Addams - I'll email your blinkie tonight :T:T

nannyboo I hope your niece is ok Hugs.

Glittermum  sounds like a nightmare but I'm glad your getting properly paid for it

Well I had a quiet weekend - thank goodness I'm sooo tired at the moment. I have globbed OH's birthday card in the usual place. My little black cat has been a star and has been taking her medicine - fingers crossed she'll be fine on Wednesday. She's so funny she purrs everytime we give her it - it's as if she knows it's good for her :rotfl:
