  • Evening everyone,

How's the weekend going then? Just wanted to post and say to anyone who doesn't know - what fab service from Joanna Sheen's site. I succumbed (again) and ordered a Martha Stewart PATP set at 2pm-ish yesterday and it was here this morning. My other orders have always been delivered pronto but this is the best so far.

Also wanted to post this link - http://crafters-re-united.lefora.com/2010/09/22/easel-card-display-instructions/ second post down -

    hope it will be useful.

    Evening,

I'm so pants at keeping up, but am popping in reading and remembering to press the thank you button, so well done to any winners, hugs to all the poorlys and their relatives, and special hugs to ones with broken bones ( ouch), and a big wave and hi to everyone else,

    ok from what I remember,

Rusty hope your feeling better, it really is not right that you are in so much pain, my doctors have a centinal service and we are usually seen by a consultant within 6 weeks, hope you get it sorted out soon,

Melissa hope your more settled, and have been able to make some cards,

hi flourgirl your just down the road from me at the moment ( and i mean literally lol) hope you having a wonderful weekend,

Marg hope your eyes are feeling better, maybe you can get some winter sun later in the year

Everyone going to craft shows have a fantastic time and spend loads I have to wait until september for Exeters westpoint to have one,

Gemma I have had my kindle about 5 weeks and agree I couldn't be without it, I take it everywhere with me, and am currently reading the girl who kicked the hornets nest.

Thank you all for your kind words about Max, Mum and dad were just so upset ( well we all were really) but they have got a new puppy another springer and he is called Henry and he is just gorgeous just what they needed.

We have been busy all week decluttering the loft and today I sorted out DD's bedroom, so I have had no time to craft |My appointment at the hospital went well yesterday I said I couldn't cope with pain in my hips and my feet and needed to get the foot sorted, so he is quite certain I have a mortons nureoma (enlarged nerve) and I'm booked in for a ultrasound with steroid injection, and if that don't work It could be an operation to take the nerve out.

We are off to Exeter tomorrow to see Andys sister, and I trying to get Andy to pop into trago en-route but he is resisting , I really need some felt to make flower hairbands,

    take care
    Take care Jo x

Yoo hoo everyone. I've been AWOL again :o, finding it a bit hard at the moment to come on regularly. Have had a quick scan through the last few pages so

    Well done winners :T

Rusty How are you now? I can't believe your Dr is so slow with the referral and just expects you to be able to manage when you can barely move. I would be finding the money for a private consulation just to get the ball rolling. That was the only thing my OH could do last year when he needed an urgent hernia repair before his last bout of treatment for his cancer as he'd had it for over a year and they couldn't refer him because of how unwell he was. He just had a small window of when he was well enough for an op so he got in with a consultant within a week and had his op the next week, although he had to pay for the op as the NHS list was too long for him to wait.

Melissa What a farce with Argos, I get so frustrated and cross with companies who promise to get back to you and don't and you end up having to chase them.

Betterlife I hope your DD is getting better. Amazing how different doctors can give a different diagnosis.

I haven't made any cards so nothing to blog about, I still haven't blogged the card I made for my DD's anniversary :(.

DD had to cancel her visit during half term week as she had trouble with her car so I never got my shopping day. Never mind, I don't like shopping much anyway.

Mom came out of hospital just over a week ago and is now back living on her own after an OT assessment and a social assessment. I couldn't be put down as another next of kin but I was put down as a second contact with a note to ring me when she was moved or discharged, and the hospital were very good with keeping me informed - I had 3 phone calls in 2 days including one to let me know she was going home and my brother was picking her up :T. For those of you that know this story, I never heard anything else from my brother, he didn't even tell me she was being discharged. I know he has no room in his life except for his wife, sons/wives and grandchildren but this is ridiculous. I mentioned to mom that he hadn't rung me to let me know how she was, that I'd had to chase him after he failed to make his promised phone call and that he made another promise to ring which he didn't keep. Her reaction was "I don't want to get involved", she sees him as the golden boy and has obviously forgotten what he HASN'T done and what we HAVE done over the years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    OK, rant over :rotfl: .

I know I've not commented on everything so please forgive me. Hope you are all OK. Big huggies to everyone and I'll try to get back soon.

Oh, by the way. The new Creativity mag is out, I ordered mine from Cutting Edge Crafts yesterday and there were 130 left, I expect a few more have been sold now. It's gone up to £2.95 but there are two free gifts including some papers.

    morning
my goodness it's nearly March! how did that happen
Tomsmum - as a health professional I regularly find that it's the people you do the most for that give you the least thanks if you know what I mean. I'm sure your mum does appreciate your help and I'm glad to hear she was well set up with support before she went home from hospital.
