Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Morning everyone - I haven't got much planned for today other than ringing Argos 'cos surprise, surprise they didn't bother to ring me yesterday! I've got a few birthday/ mother's day presents to order today - I keep putting it off but I must get it done before the stuff goes up in price!! I am so tempted to have a bit crafty splurge as OH treated himself to a pair of trainers yesterday - I've still got my eye on those MME paper pads, and I really fancy some border dies.

Rusty - the papers that you bought were that ones that I was going to send to you!!! I know I've got a few other of their collections so I'll get some of those cut up instead!!! Does anyone else want the other papers???? Its kind of you to offer me some digital images - I'd love some but only when you can be bothered - you've got enough on your plate at the minute as it is!!! As for papers - I love the bo bunny valentines ones that you've been using - I'd love some of those if you've got some spare. I'm trying to think what else I've got that you might not have, I haven't been buying as much as I used to - I'll have a rummage and see what I come up with!!!!

Skiergirl - its great to hear from you - sorry to hear about your knee though.

Viclspence - I'm glad to hear that you got your insurance sorted - hope the physio goes okay. I'll have to remember to watch create and craft - sounds like they have some good demos on there - trouble is Elliot takes over the tv in the day! Hope things at work get sorted soon - sounds like a right nightmare.

ScattyJan - I did a bingo card too - its on my blogg!

Artydoll - hope you feel better soon. Your new cards are gorgeous - your faux stitching looks fab on the first one, and I love the big butterfly on the second, love the "ewe" sentiment too!

line 1 circle, spots and glitter
line 2 Square, Buttons and stars
line 3 Yellow, punch and flowers

Morning everyone - hope you're all doing OK and special hugs to Rusty, hope you have a better day today.

I was crazy busy last night - I got an order for an exploding hexagonal box yesterday but they needed it today :eek: I managed to get it finished but I wish I had more time to make it a bit more fancy. I'll post it on my glob but I've got something else to post first. I'm off on a mission to buy DST at lunchtime and not buy anything else while I'm there (scratch that I need glue sticks too... but no stash!!!)

Just popped in to see how you're all doing,

Rusty - I do hope you're feeling better today -if not do try and see a pain specialist or someone.
Mind you saying that I could do with some pain management myself -mental note to self to mention to GP on Monday and see if he can refer me to someone.:)

melissa - I'm a sucker for any spare papers as you know and currently doing christmas cards from odd bits I've got...............trying to be a bit mse (don't where I am till my DLA gets sorted out) and doing 'patchwork' type ones...........so far so good I think:)

Scattyjan, I've made two cards for the BINGOOOOOO challenge

I can't blog them until later - one because it's for a friend and she follows my blog. I'm giving her it tonight though The other one I can't quite finish until the glitter dries :rotfl:

They will be on the internet by Sunday though

yippee ive just posted my first ever competition you no where (homepage) hope you like
well what a week ive had! a few weeks ago i said my little girl was a bit peeky, bit of a temp complaining of feeling sick (but not) it was very weird? anyway last week she had mon and tues off school but was ok so went wed and thur but when i picked her up thur they said they where having trouble keeping her awake, when she came home she sleeped right through til the morning, so i kept her home fri, anyway much the same over wkend but monday her face was really puffy and swollen, eyes sunk right back, so took her docs (was kept waiting hour !!!) doctor was about 16 and said she`s fine other than her bodies gone into starvation mode and i need to get her to eat as much as i can (she had to do a wee sample ) well she just would eat so i was really worried and took her to see a better doc tues, she said she is not in starvation mode as this would show up with anyone that had`nt eaten for a few hours so not to worry aslong as she`s drinking, but she thought she might have hepititis a, so i had to take her back at dinner time for a blood test, got phone call wed saying she was right and she had it had to go docs again, she then said it might just be gladular fever, been back today as doc wants to keep an eye on her, still waiting futher blood results, and have to take her back tues, huuu (take breath) what a week and with 3 other little ones home aswell. she is eating a bit but sleeps most of day bless her, sometimes i wonder how docs get qualified.???

That's awful. I will say my consultants say that GP's are wannabee doctors that couldn't cut it, think they know everything but don't know a bean!
