RebekahR - I can't believe that your m-i-l comes round and tidies your house - how cheeky - I would be fuming!!!!
I know! Can't stop her either. Unless I get up at the crack of dawn when she does. Even then she would still do it. I get up to find the whole houes, cupboards, drawers all blitzed. Things thrown away and then pouncing on me the second my feet hit the stairs to do this or do that and telling me all about what she has done like is after medal :eek:Then complains we don't appreciate her. So I says I never asked you to do any of that lol. The worst that annoys me the most is her insisting on waking us up with tea in bed. i wanna stop this habit as we are going to be pregnant soon.0 -
Rebecca :eek::eek::eek:
My best friends MIL said she wont visit her because the house is a tip!! There is nowhere to sit and she has to wash a cup to make a drink!! true. To give my friend some credit though her washing and ironing is lovely and she makes nice cards.
Ali I couldn't even find a bag the other day:(0 -
Hmm I dont think I'd mind if someone did my cleaning for free - crack on!!! But going through drawers etc and chucking stuff out without checking a bit tooooo cheeky!!!
flourgirl - omg!! Thats not like you!!! Were you feeling ok???;)0 -
Oooo I know what you mean about Crafty Emmas I did an order the other day for nearly £30 and chickened out at the last minute. If I have any pennies left after the weekend I might just press the button
I have been bizzy whizzy, I have made 2 chocolate cakes, 2 plain jam and cream cakes, 3 coconut cakes, 2 lemon meringues and cooked a joint of pork and one of ham all to take to my sons this weekend hope they travel 320miles ok :-)
DH has gone flying so I'm having a bit of quiet time!!
Rainmac I'm glad your DS is feeling better.
Rusty I second what Rainmac said, phone your consultant at the hospital, mine told me to ring his secretary and not to bother with my GP as it takes too long to get seen.0 -

Rusty With all the problems you seem to be having with your docs could you change to a different doctor? Maybe they would treat you better.
Kitty cat seems to be doing ok but it must have been some fright... the big bruiser has done nothing but hiss and growl at her since she came back from the vetIf it's not one thing it's another at the moment
Morning all ... just a quick one ...
Hope the !!!!!cat feels better soon xx
Peppop, I can't change my doctor, cause believe it or not he is good, the 2 docs I saw when I couldnt get an appointment with my own dr about my leg, the first one said it was cause I was fat and prescribed weight loss tablets ... then the 2nd one didnt even check me out and said oh I see you were prescribed this, have you tried it? to which my reply was no and she sent me away telling me to try it ... I then demanded to see my own dr and he knew just by looking at me what the problem was, this was as I hobbled through the door. now I will only see him.
Just an update .... I am stuck, took me nearly an hour to get downstairs this morning, each one on my bum ... my friend has had to take my children and I was told the Dr would call me back around 11, only thing is surgery closes for lunch at 12 and still no call back, heaven help whoever is on the end of the phone come 1pm when I call back and kick off ... I am in so much pain I can't walk, and have to crawl if I need to move anywhere, I have a bottle or oramorph (liquid morphine) which is looking very tempting at the minute .... OH is on his way home. I am in such a bl00dy mess!!! ... sorry it is short and sweet, but sure you will understand when I tell you I am on the floor writing this LOL ...
Hope everyone is ok and stay safe xxxxx
P.S big thanks to rainmac for the sanity in text messages, what a fabby friend you are xxxRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Hi Rusty, I also have problems with the bottom of my back and sciatica. When my back "went" last year and I couldnt even turn on my back on the bed, docs said they couldnt come out as it was "passed the time you need to ring for a home visit" so oh rang 999. Paramidics were brilliant even though I kept apologising for getting them out. Dont suffer like that, ring them.Take care.
