Thank you so much Dragonllew – the papers are perfect.

Rusty – hope the drs manage to sort out your pain relief, and that you don’t have to wait too long for another referral, but as Rainmac said if you need to call 999.

Glad your cat is OK PepPop – hopefully she won’t need an op to sort out the tooth.

Hope your little one is on the mend soon Rainmac, sounds like you are really going through it at the moment. Oh yes - i'll join you on a stash ban because I need to save all my pennies to a) pay for florida and b) to pay for all the stash I must buy when I get there :rotfl:. Now i've done a patchwork card, i can make loads more, to save me buying any pretty papers.

Marg – sorry you are not in Tenerife with your friends. I can only imagine how that feels, missing the winter sun. How are you eyes by the way, hopefully back to normal for you.

Can’t believe yet another night of football on TV again, so am off to sit in bed, and do some knitting. Need to make another boys card, but that will have to wait until tomorrow night.

    xx
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Thanks again, I have got some beautiful things to work with now. Just a question, I got a few things from the £1 shop and got some watercolour pencils. Sorry to be so dim, but what do you do with them:o.
    Sue

No doubt you have had lots of replies but for the best effect you need to buy watercolour paper to stamp on as some paper the water just goes straight through. If you colour in your image and then add water to a paint brush take off most of the excess water and then brush where you have coloured in gives a lovely effect.

    Thanks Kate.
I got some lovely free papers and decoupage, I think they are called Daisy and Dandelion, from a thread going way back. I am finding cutting out and sticking them together quite relaxing. I got some sticky pads from the £1 shop. Its going to take me till Christmas to read through all 5 parts of the thread. Its taking over my life, I am even dreaming about cards lol. Is this what it will be like from now on.

Errr, yep ;) Please do let us have a peek at what you make x

    Hey nannyboo, how are you?

LOL Ali, that's how I felt when I took DS1 to see Marmaduke, I thought it was awful but he thought it was brilliant ;) So sorry to hear about your OH's cousin, sounds painful. Bet she'd really appreciate a lovely handmade card x

Yep lol! I sometimes wake up in the night with card layouts in my head :o.

I really must have a clearout and sell some stash coz I've seen some sneaks of the Lili of the Valley March release and there's a new whiff of joy one that I really really like (for anyone not on a stash ban they're on preorder from crafty emma) Am not putting in links so you can't just click and go :rotfl::rotfl:

Rusty - I am so gutted - I've just spent the last half an hour listing all the October Afternoon pads that are available and where you can get them from including prices and I've just lost it all!!! Anyway the gist of it was that the papers that I used on my card were from the weathervane collection, but they don't do a pad in those, they didn't bother producing the 8x8 pads for their earlier collections. I can cut a couple of my papers up and send you some 6x6 sheets to make cards with if you like - its no bother, some of the sheets I've got 2 of too. The cheapest place that I found online for the pads was here:
    http://www.craft-emporium.co.uk/index.php?cPath=706
they've got a really good selection, plus the earlier pads are £6.99 and the recent releases are £7.99

    http://www.craftie-charlie.co.uk/
here sells a few too but he's only got a couple plus they're £8.99

    http://www.papermaze.co.uk/customer/home.php
they've got quite a lot, some are only £6.40 but the majority are out of stock.

    http://www.sirstampalot.co.uk/rubber-stamps.php?cPath=2_12_426&osCsid=343f88b751eefab87c1901a84a4c87f8
these have got a couple including road map for £6.50

    http://www.atripdownmemorylane.co.uk/catalog/index.php?manufacturers_id=132&sort=3a&filter_id=71
these have 2 for £7.95 each

Thanks Melissa, I appreciate all of your hard work ... although not sure OH will when he finds out how much I just spent! Thankyou for the offer of cutting up yours, but I sort of bought them :rotfl:

Thanks to all those re posting the pram ... I paid for it on parcelforce, but it was 8cm over! (insert roll eye smiley) and when I checked all other couriers it would have been classed as a pallet at prices starting from £85 :D lol ... I am seeing it as a sign that I need to keep it, I did tell OH that I never wanted to get rid of it anyway as I loved it :rotfl:

Rainmac - I tried calling GP and everything last time when I was stuck on the floor and they said no because it wasn't life threatening!! I managed to pick up DS. I did however call the GP to chase up my referral, but they have only typed it up today, so it has taken them over a week to even type it up and will take another week to fax it over then I need to sit and wait for them to get something sorted and out to me!

Hope your DS is feeling a little better, its horrible when they are so poorly :(

Padster - I am the same ... I wake up with layouts and styles in my head!! :rotfl:

right I think I have missed stuff out, sorry if I have..... I am eating ben & Jerry's so off to curl up on the sofa xxx night all xxxx

Well ladies I feel much better today - I'm just a bit tired! Wish me luck - tomorrow the bike bits are meant to be being delivered - I wonder what will turn up???

RebekahR - I can't believe that your m-i-l comes round and tidies your house - how cheeky - I would be fuming!!!!

Quiksave - thanks for the heads up about the Tim TSV - I've managed to tape a few of the shows but I haven't watched them yet, I'm afraid my tv is taken up with the baby tv channel all day.

Rusty - I'm sorry I meant to reply to you yesterday about the October Afternoon pads - I was going to look to see what range the papers had come from and it completely slipped my mind. I'll find out and be back!!! Congrats on winning the tickets!!! Yep I'll send Tilly down when she arrives - you can have Elliot too if you want!

Rainmac - sorry to hear that you had a bad night's sleep - hope DS feels better soon, and sorry to hear about your OH's colleague.

    Artydoll - lovely cards!

Saveapenny - its great to hear from you!!! I can't believe that Harry is 2 already and that he has a sister!!!

Zoeisababe - welcome to the thread!

PepPop - sorry to hear about your poor cat!

Cardpaperscissors - lovely easel card - are the twisted ones hard to do???? Fab image.

Melissa - twisted easel not too difficult really, just remember to double-check your image will look right when the card is propped up. I saw a double twisted one on Create and Craft a couple of weeks ago and managed to work out how to do it. I made the latest one more difficult for myself by shaping the card and using the nestie lacey squares to layer onto. I found this for you,
