Sorry to hear about your job - hope you manage to sort it out. Why do organistions insist of reorganising and changing the titles of people. It so irratates me - i used to work for a co that used to change things every 3 years, and it was never for the better.
Hope your DD is ok gets to see her dad as soon as she can xx
Thanks everyone. I hope I get it sorted too, I have to sign the new contract and I want confirmation that It won't affect my position within the office I 'manage'. I wouldn't say any of us in the office are medical secretaries, we are more like kindergarten teachers with the anaesthetists we look after!
She seems to have cheered up a bit, just waiting to hear if he is ok.Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0 -
CT - yes thats the one. I've got Margs updated list so if your addy details are on it I'll try and get it n the post tomorrow or Monday - oh and dont be daft about wanting anything for it.0

Thank you so much Ali - yes my address is on Marg's list xx2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Mad Frog - I do indeedy - the proposed cuts were agreed by the councillors last night just need to know if my reduction in hours has been agreed first of all then go from there - I have a recent OU cert in IT and computing so am not overly worried it's DD's childcare that's my biggest concern as I'll have to sort something new in September - will sort itself I hope :rotfl::rotfl: I have quite a few days off in the next couple of months so that's a bonus
Ali B - I think it's the time of year for dumps and grumps - doesn't help that Jan and Feb seem such long months.
Off to finish a DT card for Sunday - yep running behind still................Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

padster - oh hope things get sorted for you xx0 -
Hi, ladies so sorry not been around - I have been commenting on blogs and I've been reading but not commenting - I dont know whats wrong with me more down than up lately - house is a tip, weather lousy all the usual carp (but nothing important - when I read things on here people are a lot worse!) so given myself a huge kick up the a*se to sort myself out and stop being a grump!!!
Hello newbies
Sending hugs to all poorlies.
Right no kids, hubby on nights - off for a soak in the bath and then if I can get motivated I will pay some attention to my poor neglected blog:D.
Take care ladies
I've taken to calling them "fishing days". But when you have a CRAFT (can't remember a "F...ing" [flipping, obviously] thing) moment on a fishing day, then you know it's bad.
Welcome to newbies, although I still very much feel a newbie myself. Hugs and love and stuff to all those who need them, unless of course you hurt when you are hugged, then I'll just wave from across the room.
Thank you for all the support. Feeling so much better in myself. I know it's the right thing, and I always knew it was going to get to this point, as indeed did he. I always told him it would get to a point when I would be strong enough to walk away. But just because you've done the right thing, and you know you've done the right thing, doesn't make it easy or pain free.
Won't be about much during tomorrow day because it's a quilting day, and I will take the cards I've made and see if I come home any richer.0 -
First of all apologies for the extremely lengthy post. I'm finding it hard to keep up here (have been trying since Monday) and with all the blog postings so must try to comment little and often if I can.
flying-fresian - great to hear that you’re having fun with your new nesties
welshkaz - I use my Nesties in a Cuttlebug and find it excellent for my needs
Scatty - Congrats on winning Marg’s challenge and setting the new Bingo one
TomsMom - Sorry about your Mum and that you’re having family problems and hope things even out a bit soon.
Georgiegirl - Sorry you’ve been feeling down but well done on binning the ex! Congrats on winning some Barbara Gray artwork. I was watching on Sunday while doing the ironing, but missed the draw
Fifi Folle - Hi, hope your OH’s Valentine card turned out well
Carmim - fab makes on your homepage
twinkledust - well done on solving the badge thing. I have a Cuttlebug and use the computer to print insets and some sentiments etc.
louby - lovely Valentines gifts, lucky you. Glad you found your ring and your glasses, what a relief. Not sure where you are but my DS was telling me a few weeks ago that that actor chap lives near his G/F. Sorry to read your DS having problems again and you, too, by the sound of it. Keep strong.
Wifey - what a nightmare re Drs for your son and now you’re poorly again - not good.
macma - glad you found your scissors
artydoll - sorry to hear about OH’s prang
Viclspence - hooray for your new crafty goodies - enjoy!
CT - well done on finishing your scarf - my recent tidy-up means I can’t find anything either!
PepPop - did you make a card?
Addams - love your three Tilda cards
lizalloareds - hope you got samples made ready for Thursday
dallam - brilliant male cards from your crafty club
melissa - what did you get from LOTV? Finally got around to EZMounting mine at the weekend. Cograts on your win
craftygranny - sorry about the probs with Carly’s Dad - I’d so love an ironing fairy, hate the job.
better life - sorry you’ve had poorly littlies, hope everyone’s recovered.
flourgirl - so you have Garage Mouse and not House Mouse
Rusty - sorry to read you’re suffering bad pain again - lovely Valentine stash from your OH, hope that it cheers you up a bit.
Mary-op - so sorry you didn’t have more encouraging news from the hospital boffin - I use a stick and at times a scooter so know how you feel. The positive side is that it saves your energy for more important things - like crafting.
Padster - enjoy your new bag. Glad you were able to enjoy that ‘moment’ between boss and supervisor. Sorry you’ve still got unsettling times at work though - fingers crossed for something great around the corner.
Glittermum - great to read that your SU workshop went well
Misskaty and suesad - hello and welcome
Off to catch up on blogs now. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Really hope you have a great and cheering day tomorrow Georgiegirl. Fingers crossed for lots of card sales too.0 -
I got my second set of Nesties
My brother bought me the circles and scalloped circles for my birthday and the scalloped ones arrived yesterday - expect to see them on a bl*g near you soon :rotfl::rotfl:
Can I get someone to use their Google-fu for me please?
I need to find single sheets of Thrift Shop paper by October Afternoon. I want five or six sheets of one design and can't find it anywhere. I would rather not pay high delivery charges either. Any help would be gratefully received0 -
