  • The wife that's sounds like our docs, you have to plan to be ill and make appointment well in advance. I think i have a chest infection but can't get into see a doc so i can't have any meds.

I Have received a lovely big bouquet of flowers but i wasn't in and next door took them but he lay them flat not knowing they were hand tied with water in. Well he had a nice big puddle in his kitchen now :o

Iv'e also had a big box of chocs.

We are stopping in and having steak and chips, grilled mushrooms and salad. Followed by chocolate and rum mousse with chocolate covered strawberries and i have also made some gluten free cakes.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Wifey - Thats ridiclous! I cant believe if someones ill they wont go out and see them even if they are not registered with them. When my MIL was staying with us, the doctor visited her even though she wasnt registered with them.

Louby - your meal sounds yummy, especially the chocolate covered strawberries!

Wifey your Drs sound just like ours, I'm sure the receptionists all go to the same training school with an added extra course on bad manners!

Louby lucky you getting lovely flowers and choccys, your romantic meal sounds lush too. Have a lovely evening x

    Hi all,
Had a really bad morning,my OH decided to pop down for some petrol, but got pranged on the way home, check my homepage for pics,he was stood in the cold for a while, until he could get transport home[thanks Ade ] by my youngest son
The car is a bit of a mess,to cap it all we dont think the other van was insured, the Police will be up later with details.fingers crossed that they are.
I,m really p.....d cos now I,m virtually housebound until we get it fixed or get another car ,I cant walk far, even to the local PO is a struggle .

I hate being stuck in the house.

So ,I calmed down by crafting all afternoon, been making paper flowers to stick on my cards, the results are on my bit of the internet if you want a peek .
Heres a few to be going on with.

  • :j Woo Hoo my parcels have finally arrived :j

I'm now the proud owner of a xyron design runner that I have no B***dy batteries for which I can't get until later in the week!

I also got the dogs and cats pick of the week from C&C plus a few extra bits from the set.

Also ordered 2 candi stores from craftwork cards, the botanical project of the month, and two plasma templates (mug and handbag).

Just shame they didn't arrive on friday so i could play with them over the weekend, oh well, will have to see if I can fit in any crafting in the evenings cos my fingers and twitching with excitement.

    God i'm sad!
Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!

Wifey - So sorry your son's poorly, I'm be tempted to suggest they phone the surgery out of hours and follow the emergency procedure suggested, maybe for an 'on call' emergency doctor or 999 service and worry about the consequences after he's been treated. (hugs for you it must be stressful not being able to get action)

Artydoll - Hope you get things sorted quickly and your DH is OK. Might your insurers pay for a hire car for you? Your flowers look fab.

Macma - glad you found your scissors I was sending finding vibes :)

Louby - Enjoy your meal tonight
