Ooo I won something - one of the Desk Sets from Jacque in the U.S.A. I'm very pleased indeed. Have posted a photo of the forthcoming goodies plus a link to her site on my homepage.

Hope everyone's had a good day and a few Valentine treats.

Huge well done to you  Jacque's stuff is always so beautiful, I love her blog :)

Hoping to make a couple of cards today if DS2 lets me ;)

I was stuffed last night! there was some gluten free cakes left that's all i'm affraid CT but no one really wants to eat one of those unless you have too. No they were very nice and so much cheaper to make my own.
Ds1 pinched 2 of the chocolate coated strawberries for is pudding.

Need to de-clutter my craft room it's awful as it is the dumping room for everything and nothing is in it's own place.

oh forgot tell you i found my glasses and my ring whoop whoop :j Ring was in my cardi pocket the whole time! i was panicking too much to think or look calmly. I am never taking it off again.

Artydoll sorry about your hubbys bump, I love your flowers so much. Did you use a punch? I need to make my own as i can't afford any of the lovely ones everyone keeps using.

  • HI i've not been on here for ever, the job keeps getting in the way and then with family life as well! but at some point i do aim to craft!

but i'm here asking/ begging a favour, do you know where i can get a chocolate bouquet from? but made with choc bars like twix etc not posh chocs. thanks in advance, i don't mind if it's a company 'very local' to you, as long as they post. so perhaps a nappy cake company?
  • Rainmac thank you re Die cut dreams - have entered my card xx
  • Morning all, sorry I have been missing in action again! I had to get some samples done for Kerry to post yesterday so that has taken up a fair bit of time, I can't show any either until next weekend as it is a new release!

I have read, but can't remember half of the things I have read!!

Artydoll - sorry to hear about your OH's crash, hope he is ok, cars can be fixed, bodies can't!

CT & Wifey - so sorry I missed your birthdays I hope you both had fabulous days!!

CT - I heard from Saveapenny last week, she asked me if I could find her an image for some wedding card she was doing, sounds like she is still crafting but enjoying her grandson aswell! she is well though, as for JHB, she is also ok although not heard from her, but I do see her statuses on Facebook.

With regards to the Toms mum ... I am also Tom's mum, and I know Rainmac is also a Toms mum! LOL ... so thats 4 or 5 of us?

I have just finished my card for the bingo challenge, so will try and get pictures and blog it tomorrow. Fab challenge though ;)

There is a new challenge over at Ladybug crafts ink it is anything but a card, if anyone is interested?

Does anyone have any of the Magnolia dies? I want to ask a question!

Can't remember where you are based? .. I have made 2, one with after eights, and one with Terrys choccy orange segments, they are fairly easy to do and I could possibly make one for you if you were local and could collect? or even teach you to make one ;) I am in the NE I really wouldn't recommend posting one though!

  • Hi Louby - just spotted your gluten free referneces - isit your husband that has the problem? My hubby and youngest son are both coeliac so plenty of baking goiing on here in Swindon too! We made lovely gingerbread men for a school picnic at the weekend - some things seem just as nice as normal and some are horrid I find!

yes my hubby is a coeliac. I always try and make time to bake him things. We all take it for granted that we can just pick up a biscuit, cake or sarni from anywhere we like.

I will have to put them on my homepage there on my FB. He works away 2 days a week and really struggles for food. I make him up a lunch box but there isn't much he can have as he is staying in a travelodge with no access to a microwave.

He doesn't want to eat out which is hard anyway but the cost each week would be too much So he only has boling water from the kettle to make things with. I am off to see what cup of soups he can have today, not much but it's something.

Edit- i have put pic on HP now

    Hi LOuby
,My Hubby was shook up as it was a very near miss, hit the front passenger side instead of his,as he swerved to avoid the unavoidable van crossing in front of him,it should have turned left and not gone straight across the road.
But I,m so glad he,s OK
He,s glad I wasnt sitting in the front like I always am.

My flowers were made from ordinary coloured printing paper, got mine from Lidls
Just fold the paper up until you have about a 3 inch square, then I drew a flower freehand on the paper ,and cut out all layers in one go.:D
Then part each layer, you should be able to make 2 flowers from one an A4 piece of paper,I used 5 or 6 seperate flower layers to make mine, just glue in the centre of each layer, making sure you place the petals alternate so they look good.
Then stick a little flower or gem in the centre:D
I then inked the edges of each layer with an ink pad to co-ordinate with the colour of the paper ,curl each petal up before sticking them to your project.
I attached them with sticky pads
They are great ,you can store them flat and curl the petals in possition when you want to use them
I now have a box full ready made in lots of colours,:rotfl:
Earnings £245 in 2014:T thanks to swagbucks
