  • Hiya all hope you are all having a lovely Sunday :)

I have noticed on a few of your blogs that some of you have boxes at the side one of which is the MSE member of card forum badge type thing.....just wondered how u get the badge and how you add things like that to your blog?? I've been trying to work it out myself with not much luck as yet :o

I'm fairly new to blogging and wanted to add some more personality to my boring blog lol

Thanks for any replies in advance :A

I've managed to do it!! I think hehe can anyone tell I'm happy with myself lol

I made a card today for my brothers wife....and forgot to picture it lol it was very plain and simple. Anyways I'm really looking forward to the craft fair as I plan to get my hands on a lot of new stash lol

I have decided to invest very soon in a new machine. I want it to be compatable with spellbinders nestabilities just as one example. There as so many machines out there now that I haven't a clue where to start. I'd like to be able to print messages as well perhaps although it not essential. I look at many of the gorgeous cards people have made on here and I want to be able to do that too!! If anyone has advice on what would be good to get then I would be extremely grateful! What machine is it that prints like stamps? or is that stamps....I'm unsure. :o

Its the flashing one that it wouldn't let me use, to one you have used is a jpg so won't flash, but my computer simply won't let me upload it it kept timing out. I have put a link to this forum if you click on it tho.

    1. Go to the Design page on your blog
    2. Down the right hand side of the page you should have some boxes with the things that appear on your side bar of your blog find the one with the MSE badge in it click edit
    3. At the top of the window that opens it should say configure HTML Javascript
    4. Then inthe bottom box this is what I have
    5. <center><a href="https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2297333 src="http://i661.photobucket.com/albums/uu332/dragonllew/th_mseani.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket" /></a>" /></center>
    6. On yours you need to change the bit I've highlight in red to the address of where you have your picture saved ie your photobucket account
I hope that helps I'm not the best at doing instructions if you need any more help let me know

From dragonllew in response to my query about the button on the bl0g.

Twinkledust - Peppop made the button for our blogs I'm sure she will have the solution - I think you have to use special 'coding' to get it to blink.

    Ooops!
  • Thanks for your replies guys its appreciated :)
