Oh Scatty what a lovely challenging Challenge, plenty of scope there x
TomsMum - sorry to hear your Mum is in hospital again - could you write to them and ask for the info to be put on her file 'pemanently' so you wont have this bother each time she is admitted, you could give them your phone number as a 'proof'? My MIL called herself a 'dotty old woman' at one of our visits which we counted as good as she actually has Alzheimers and can remember very little but has never admitted it before! We found that each time she has a 'physical' illness it affects her dementia. (Hugs)
Georgie - got your pm, thanks. Well done on your win.
Pennib - Your cards are fab without gadgets!0 -
Oh Tomsmom, what a b*gger your brother is being! My mum is currently having huge issues with her sister sorting out some things for my nan (she's 88). My aunt is being a horrible cow
Big hugs to you xxx
Scatty, congratulations, what a fun new challenge too
It's wet and windy here too, I was on rugby duty this morning as it's my OH's birthday so I gave him a week off. I froze standing outside in the rain whilst DS1 ran around getting muddy. I can't get warm now but need to venture into the kitchen to make some birthday cakes for tea - sticky toffee cupcakes and brownies. We had a fab day yesterday, had breakfast at an American diner near us before going to the Space Centre, we had a good time and then went to friends for tea and cake then home for takeaway. Having our M&S meal for 2 tonight so it's a no cooking weekend for me which is just lovelyGot the ironing to do later but I may just do some of it (uniform!) and do the rest in a couple of days.
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Hello,
Anyone remember me!? I'm so sorry I went awol again, I haven't really got a good excuse, life just got in the way.
I can't remember the last time I made a card but I have the afternoon to myself so am going to make a valentines card for my oh & hopefully a few more cards. I wanted to pop on here first though & say hi. (it took me 6 attempts to remember my username & password to get on here, that's how long I've been hiding away!). I hope everyone is well & that you're all still winning lots of challenges! I'm sure there are lots of newbies, so hi to you all.
I am determined to get on here & my bl*g more often; even if it's just once a week, so hopefully I should be around a bit more.
To everyone on the birthday list whose birthdays I missed, I really apologise. I feel awful after receiving so many beautiful cards back in October for mine. When I get back into the swing of things, I will try & make it up to you.
I will pop back as soon as I can & catch up on the gossip. Hugs to all & sorry once again for disappearing! x x x0 -
Hi Fifi, lovely to see you back xxx:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Well done Scatty and what a great challenge - will try and do better this time (I've been saying that a lot recently
)
Sorry about your Mum Tom's Mum - families can be a right pain in the backside sometimes - my friend has similar problems with her mum and her brothers were less use than mudflaps on a tortoise.
Send your ironing over Rainmac - OH did ours this week although there wasn't much for some reason expect they're both hiding their washing for me next week :rotfl::rotfl: I then drove him to the garage and made him pump my tyres up in the rain so am keeping a low profile at the mo
I will have some candy on my blog in a few mins now I've finally decided what it's going to be. If you nip over to OSAAT lots of us have some up for grabs and JLJ designs has a gorgeous pink and chocolate paper pack up and one of the prizes is some copics :T
Hugs to everyoneOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
