Booo!! OH taped the football last night and I was taping the Biggest Loser so MBFGW crashed!!! Was it good?? What happened??

What made it worse was he came in from work and said "oh I didn't mean to tape that you should just have deleted it and taped your program!" AARGH!!

I have to wait until the weekend to see it as Paul watches it with me, it recorded on the sky+ though!!

For those who want to see it you can watch it online at channel 4OD

I am furious, my DD sometimes struggles to wipe her bottom properly ... so shouts for help. I picked her up and she said sorry mummy I couldn't wipe myself properly with dry tissue (I have wetwipes for them at home) and I said its ok lets get you home and change you. I asked her if she asked for help from a teacher and she said no cause there was no one there, turns out that they let 3 yr olds go to the toilets on their own and because DD didn't know that she wouldn't be able to do it until it happened there was no supervision or even someone stood near the toilets and she has come home, is red raw with stuff plastered on the inside and outisde of her knickers!!! ... not being funny but surely there should be someone supervisiing them incase they can't manage themselves?? its not every time that she can't manage but surely 3 year olds do need help occasionally  or is it just me???

I do agree with you that there should be supervision, i had the same thing when my DS1 was in nursery, he always had trouble with the clip on his trousers and would often 'dribble' on his trousers, after a having him come home like that for 3 days in a row i spoke to the teacher about it and was told

'we are NOT allowed to heelp them open their trouser, pull their underwear down or wipe their bums!'

I do understand that they worry they would possibly be accused of touching a child in the wrong way, but when they are 3 yrs old they can't wipe it properly and do need help, if it is such a problem why do children need to start school so early.

Sorry rant over, but things like that really rile me up.

I am just so annoyed, she has quite bad skin so gets sore regularly!! I still have to use sudocream and stuff like that on her down below yet she really does try to keep it clean when she goes to the loo etc etc! When I worked in a nursery just over 4 years ago the children had to be supervised at all times when using the toilet, obviously they would go in the cubucles on there own but we always had to stand near the door!!

Marg has your posty been yet? I posted something to Wifey and hers has arrived safely! xx

Rusty I can understand how you feel, Willow had the same problems at her school and my DIL had to go and see them quite often, she is older now and able to cope but still wants spare pants and wet wipes in her bag. I think at 3 they should really be supervised and be able to have help if they are in a bit of trouble, I would hate to think a kiddie of mine was walking around with a sore botty apart from is being distressing for the child. Hope she is feeling more comfortable now xx

Rusty - Postie's been but only brought junk mail - sorry - will let you know as soon as I get yours.

Sorry I posted & ran earlier & didn't comment on poor Missy's plight. It's appalling at that age they are still babies (not that they'd be pleased to hear me say that) It's such a fundamental basic need. If the people employed AND vetted to look after children can't be trusted to help them if needed what the H**l are they doing? Rant over.......

    Everyone!

i have just been speaking to rusty and she has told me I need to come on here and say hello to you all.

I am really sorry I have been AWOL for so long. I haven't really made any cards for so long so don't have much to contribute at the moment and would feel a fraud if I came on here. I am also trying really hard to get our finances back on an even keel and and am trying to spend money on nothing but essentials (I have my fingers in my ears so I can't hear you all sayin "but stash IS essential:rotfl:). If I come on here there is too much temptation!

I am also just a teeny (well alot actually!) bit obsessed with money making and that is taking up alot of my time.

rusty pointed out to me that my blog has not been updated since October - it must be feeling very neglected:(

oops I go missing for ages then write a long post - sorry:D

I have missed everyone on here and will try and make some cards and will be back soon.
