Cinderella,(Misson style) was fantastic yesterday, the kids were brilliant. Willow did really well and remembered her lines! I bet the kids were all tired today as they had to do a second performance at 6pm.

Rainmac I'm glad to hear Melissa is ok, it must be difficult to find some me time with 3 children and another one on the way.

DS1's play was on Tuesday, they did a show at 2pm and again at 7pm. I was 'lucky' enough to go to both ;)

Don't think Mel will mind me saying but baby number 4 is a pink bundle ;)

DD hasn't mentioned that yet - but now spends ages doing her hair when this time last year it was a fight to get her anywhere near a brush - luckily I don't do it right so I'm off the hook.

Childcare is a nightmare over xmas - fortunately I work from home 3 days a week and the Bank holidays are mondays this year so I only have xmas eve to sort out as I'm off new years eve so we can go see OH's family - she usually goes to the out of school club but it shuts xmas eve until they go back :o

I find it hard to concentrate when she's here and I'm working as she permanently seems to be hungry although she does keep me supplied with coffee and makes my lunch :D

Know what you mean about the concentrating. Luckily my boss has 4 kids and knows exactly what it's like so I normally work 8-11.30 (whilst he;s still asleep / happy to lie on the sofa watching tv. Then I take a long lunch break 11.30-2.30 to try and tire him out. then back to work until 6pm for me whilst he makes something / plays on the wii, etc. Not ideal but what acn you do - there is no childcare for his age group such as holiday clubs over Christmas as far as I can tell.
Have been busy crafting this evening but daren't post pics as I think one of the receipients of my gifts reads my blog.
  • oooh a little girl for mel . She'll be spoilt rotten when she appears especially by the boys.

Just signing in for the nightshift :) so may not make too much sense - please bear with me.

Mary Op - hugs for you & Mr Mary what a horrid thing to happen especially at such a busy time of year.

rainmac - thanks for news of Melissa I've missed her and we don't count how many cards you make to come on here - just value each others friendship - I bet she's excited about a girl after 3 boys.

Padster - Well Done on your DT post :j

Artydoll - congratulations on your win

CT - just realised that you meant you have to secret Santa everyone not just one of your colleagues:eek: Gift cards deffo the way to go, you could get different one for each person, and if you had time, disguise them in different shaped boxes or a sour cream container?

Brain just about given up now - off to bed - not sure I'll sleep though
  • Its a really nice thread! What is more important its very actual before Christmas:xmassmile

Mary Ouch for Mr Mary, it's fingers in ears and.....la la la la la! if he starts complaining. I dunno! Men'll do anything to get out of helping with the Christmas shopping, mine could crawl under a snake with a top hat on his head just to get out of going to the supermarket.

Padster, Well done on the new DT position, don't forget to send us the links as I don't remember that one.

PepPop & flourgirl, a double daring cake dive into those two yummy creations, I've been rushing around so much the weight is just falling off me (not!) I'm sure I need extra padding :D
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!
