Sorry, me again, can't remember who asked about Melissa but she is fine, very busy but not been crafting so she said she feels she shouldn't come here as she'd feel like a fraud. I've said to absolutely pop in when she has the time and we'd all love to see her so I really hope she does. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

So, this week all christmas ideas went out the window...........must get back to some sort of normality and quick for my sanity's sake......:rotfl:

Happy birthday bunbun.:T:T:T...........and hugs to all those who need them.

Get me - three posts today.
Just started to relook at blogs, PONR - your sock monkeys and kitties are really cute, and I've been meaning to attempt one this year, but never found the time.
Do you follow a pattern or book to make yours up? Just looked at Amazon and there are quite a few books for guidance, but not sure which one would be best. Any ideas?
Thanks
x

CT I think I would play it safe and buy your colleagues a £10 gift card you can always say as you are new to the office you dont know their likes and dislikes. Take a note of what they buy each other cos its usually something they would like for themselves.0

CT - that's a lot to spend on pressies for people you hardly know
I agree with Flourgirl - at least the gift cards will be easy to get - WH Smith sell them for the world & his dog - I went in there looking for a book token in September and had right trouble finding it amongst all the others :rotfl:
Mary - big hugs - my OH is bad enough with a slight sniffle let alone something that serious - the pavements have been dreadful - hope he's on the mend but if he's moaning he must be getting there :rotfl:
I'm soooooooo glad DD doesn't finish school until Wednesday - will only have 1 day to amuse her for as I'm at work xmas eve so OH will have the pleasureI wish you all luck especially with little excited ones - allegedly father christmas is not real....................... but you know everything when you're "nearly 11" (not 10 and a bit) :rotfl::rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

"&son" is apparently a "junior teenager" now he's 10 and was adamant Father Christmas was not real this year but now seems to be hedging his bets - just to be on the safe side.
He finishes school tomorrow and my childcare has abandoned me to go on holiday so next week is going to be fun :eek::eek:
I'm working from home Monday and Tuesday and have a long list of Christmassy things for him to make to keep him out of my hair - gingerbread house, christmas biscuits, peppermint creams, icing the christmas cake. I suspect I'll spend every night tidying my kitchen!
Mum should be back on Wednesday though so I'll hand him over as soon as she gets back in town.0 -
Dragonllew I was just catching up on blog comments and noticed I have won something on your blog
It took me a while to work out what it was and what its for (thicky me!!) I have tried the link for email and cant get it to work but will try again later. Thankyou so much, and thank Aimee for picking my name out of the hat xx
Mary sorry to hear your news, I hope your DH is feeling ok. Take care of yourself too and be careful when you go out in this second spell of freezing weather.
Cinderella,(Misson style) was fantastic yesterday, the kids were brilliant. Willow did really well and remembered her lines! I bet the kids were all tired today as they had to do a second performance at 6pm.
Rainmac I'm glad to hear Melissa is ok, it must be difficult to find some me time with 3 children and another one on the way.0 -

DD hasn't mentioned that yet - but now spends ages doing her hair when this time last year it was a fight to get her anywhere near a brush - luckily I don't do it right so I'm off the hook.
Childcare is a nightmare over xmas - fortunately I work from home 3 days a week and the Bank holidays are mondays this year so I only have xmas eve to sort out as I'm off new years eve so we can go see OH's family - she usually goes to the out of school club but it shuts xmas eve until they go back
I find it hard to concentrate when she's here and I'm working as she permanently seems to be hungry although she does keep me supplied with coffee and makes my lunchOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
