us too, no post since tuesday! I am waiting for my new C plate as mine snapped in half a few weeks ago, I kept using the halves and gradually they both kept splintering into nothing..! I suppose I could use my expensive dust-gatherer (ahem my Robo) if I wasn't so lazy/busy! new years resolution - plug Robo in more often!!

i checked royal mail website the other day and if you go onto Customer Services you can check postcodes and see if there's any delays with deliveries. I ordered something from Amazon yesterday and a page came up saying there could be delays...........having said that something I ordered on Monday arrived today.
We've only had one day with no postie about -hoping the snow will now feel its done its bit and vanish..........:)

artydoll -is there anywhere else that sells those letters and the blue swirly bits.....? Can't get to a TK Max - thats if there is one round here..........lol:)

Sorry I’ve been awol. Our internet connection has been down size Tuesday, I guess due to the weather and it has only come back on today.

Well done to all the winners this week.

I’ve just checked the StitchyBearKids blog, to see that Jack won a challenge for the Easel card he has made my mum for Christmas – he is well chuffed.

PepPop – glad your OH has got on well with the new job. I haven’t been in for the last 2 days as the weather down here has been appalling, with so much snow, the roads are dangerous and the majority of trains cancelled.

Kids have been off since Wednesday, and I am suffering from cabin fever too. Decided to put the xmas tree up yesterday, so our house is looking quite festive with lots of twinkly lights, and presents under the tree.

CGC – glad things with your mum are improving.

Tom’sMom – hopefully the rest of the treatment for your OH goes well.

Dragonllew – glad your OH is ok, having been in hospital this week.

Padster – hope your boss sees sense and you sort out the issue OK.

Flourgirl – hope you have had a cosy crafting day with Willow.

Liz – sorry to hear about your OH job – hope he finds something else very soon.

Hope to catch up with blogs over the weekend, and update my neglected one with a few of my recent makes, just finished doing 12 place settings for a 80th party.

Was stopped in the street today by one of the mums at school how says that she would like me to make her some cards, after she bought some at my friends toddler group the other week. She said that everyone she had since given a card to had loved them, so am feeling very happy today:D.

Our snow's beginning to melt - just hope it doesn't freeze over now. I'm a bit behind on blog commenting but I'm off Monday and Tuesday so I'll catch up by then. Need to get my fingers out and get my Christmas cards finished. Got a new baby boy one to do - a woman I work with became a Gran for the first time today - awwwwww.

Rusty What sort of size of roses did you get? I've been trying to make up my mind for ages but don't have a clue what size to pick - HELP?!

hello, how is everyone keeping in this snow? I think i have been in the only place that didn't have much at all. Been at center parcs so been in our on little bubble no being really aware of quite how much there was. Snowman making is on the cards tomorrow as well as putting up the xmas tree.
What is the date for secret santa? I so need to get some xmas cards done asap, hopefully this week. Not looking foward to the school run next week our school never shuts even though on the news it said 600 local ones had.

Sorry i've been missing all day but k needed entertaining . We haven't been able to go out for nearly a week now. It's driving us all mad. No post since last weekend and probably none for a few more days either.

Thank you for pointing out my win and all the good wishes. Something to look forward to when the postie makes it around here again. I'll need a truck just for my stuff i've been on a xmas shopping spree on amazon lol.

Hi everyone - long time, no speak!

I've been really busy with jewellery, and not so much cards! Although I've got some Christmas cards to do, so must get back to it.

I've got all my secret santa present ready to go - I suppose I better send it soon, in case it gets stuck in the snow!
