Omg - Tomsmum & CGC - huge hugs to you both and hope your loved ones are better real soon. I sort of know what you are going through as my dad was treat terrible in hospital. If anything be one of those relatives where you feel you are being a pain - asking all the time and badgering somebody - but unfortunately that is the only thing that seems to work. My friend is a nurse and her advice to us was to be nice - well we were and it got us nowhere.
Rusty - hope your sons head is ok.
No crafting done last night and wont be any done tonight - hopefully I'll get a bit done tomorrow.
Have a nice night - off for a soak in the bath and a glass of wine before I'm a celebrity - loving it - but Gillian has gone beyond a joke now!!0 -

CG Still got everything crossed for you and hope you get the results back quickly so that you don't need to worry about it for much longer.

Good morning all. Thank you for your messages, I've calmed down a little bit this morning.
D-i-l went to visit DS last night, got there at 7pm and just as she sat down a nurse came and said DS was to go for his endoscopy. D-i-l said "I've only just arrived, it's taken me two hours to get here" to which the nurse replied "Well, he is an emergency". WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! He was an emergency that arrived 24 hours previously, what a bloomin' joke! So they took him off and as he would be away for two hours she came straight back home, another 2 hour drive. There are no motorways here, only country roads so 60 miles is rather a long drive!
He rang her about 10pm saying it was all over and he didn't feel anything and the nurse was going to find him something to eat. D-i-l took him sandwiches, cake, 2L bottle of something to drink so he had supplies! I still can't get over how come they didn't let him have anything to drink for so long, seems crazy.
Not heard anything yet this morning so don't know if he's coming home today but nothing has been said about bringing him operation forward.
D-i-l is doing DS's work for him as he works for himself with a work partner. She was laying pipes yesterday besides doing the school lollipop and the school run (7 miles to school). She was given paid holiday from the chip shop so that was nice of her boss.
DH has gone for the first session of scans today, early start so I didn't see him off when he was picked up. Maybe I'll get a bit organised today.
CG Any news?
Rusty I hope you and BunBun enjoy yourselves at the Papermill shop, have a good spend!
Hope everyone else is OK and has a good day.
Sun is shining here, is this the last good day before the threatened snow? It's flippin' cold, not worth putting the washing out.0
