They say the paperwork MUST be printed. If I can't physically print it for any reason (e.g. when out in the field and using netbook), I print a copy to file. That way I'm complying with their requirements.

Luckily, I have never been intercepted before the counter on any of these jobs. If done outside the peak times (there is usually a sign at the counter) non customers can transact, including getting change, which is the one I always try. It seems a bit strange to reject your assignment because you were intercepted before the counter (as long as you reported this). Some of the branches I have done have had no proper counters anyway, so the brief says not to attempt the counter transaction.

That or you need to lie.. and lie badly lol... SAy your doing one thing then go to the counter for something else. LOL

As for phone number for GFk its on the website its typed below for you.. however they don'ot like ppl ringing unless its emergency I would try emailing the Laura at the helpdesk she can generally deal with or direct your query to the person you need to speak to

My first job for RE in over 6 months is booked for this weekend, just received an "are you still doing this job?" email.

I now remember why I hate this outfit so much.

I was actually tempted to reply with "I was still going to do the job, but as you've wasted 2 minutes of my life that I'll never get back, I'm now not going to, so cancel it and shove it up your bottom", but I didn't as it's to one of my favourite places.

They're doing my head in at the moment. I've had 7 such emails in the last couple of days

I replied to the first three and the rest I'll just ignore. Any further replies I send them are very unlikely to be polite ones ;)

Thanks guys for the suit advice. My client doesn't have a girlfriend, hence he has me.

I'm a personal concierge - basically a freelance p.a and errand runner. This particular bloke is single, solvent and works 70 hour weeks.

Can I say the company? It's the sort of work that might sut some of you guys, so long as you don't live in Glasgow, of course!

I sort of assumed he was getting "the" ring for a lady friend and it one of those things that shouldn't be outsourced, everything else tho is fair game.

I've often thought I should go into business doing this, as it's just my sort of thing. Not shopping, but fixing/sorting stuff out for a time-poor bloke! :rotfl:

Me and the mother-in-law were 10 seconds away on the path. Spent half an hour with the woman watching them ressutate the young boy.

oh, and btw. The firefighters didn't lift the tree off them. The father dragged his son from under the tree and he was laying a few meters away and me and others tore the branches away from the mother and sat holding the rest down and off her as she couldn't move due to the seriouse head injuries and the fact she was unconcious most of the time. Gotta love the newspapers for never being 100% accurate.
