No snow in our area, thankfully, however I have decided not to take any shopping centres/town centres until after Xmas, each job seems to take three times as long with traffic, parking, queues etc and it is still November!!! Have a large shopping centre jobs to do unfortunately on a Saturday in December but after that not a lot that involves shopping centres! No Matter what you do there will be critics.0

How I agree! I left early this morning as I had 2 town centres to do..had a spot of luck in the first car park cos another driver gave me his ticket which had loads of time left on it. The shops were manic and by the time I got to the second town, all the car parks were showing as full and it wasn`t even midday!! Was like being on a theme park ride, round and round the car park trying to find and empty space..and dodgems trying to grab one. Still home in the warm now and no snow, so all is good.0 -

If the weather is really bad, it's not your fault you couldn't do it.
For the job I couldn't do this morning, I took a photo out my window and emailed that, so they can see why I couldn't get the car out of our street!
Also the Police said don't travel unless it's an emergency: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-11853578
We've had more snow this afternoon and all our local bus services are cancelled. Met Office warning out for more snow overnight.
I don't think it's worth putting yourself at risk, when the weather conditions are so bad. Stay safe people xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
I Agree Bec, I mean if the police are saying stay home these companies can't really make us go out. we ARE SELF EMPLOYED remember that!
acutally GFK sent out an email to people doing special gigs about the weather I thought that was cool.0 -
Too true, I was chatting away to someone once and she said her husband had gone out one day and slid on ice, hit his head and he never came home. I live on a hill and watching the cars slide backwards and people fall over, it's just not worth the hassle. Any accident, even a little one, will cost more than most ms jobs to fix and some things are just worth more than money but it's hard to disappoint people so do take care if you go out.0

Has anyone done the counting bays audit for the company that can not be named? This one is just counting how many bays are occupied by certain products.
I am a bit confused about what they are looking at for the photograph. They say you have to take a photograph of each display, but not close up of each bay. Does that mean if I can get one photograph to show 5 bays of products that is fine.
Also are people tending to sign in for these or are they like the crisp ones where you are doing them without signing in??0 -
Hi,
I am new to the forum and applied to join my first MS company last week. I followed a link from another forum on this site. A couple of days later I received a phone call from them asking if I wanted an assignment near me and I hadn't even had the "telephone interview".
So 2 days later I was walking round this supermarket buying lots of makeup, which was entertaining for a bloke and leaving an item on the bottom of the trolley, trying to avoid the security guard......
I enjoyed the experience of not being on the receiving end of a MS for a change.
A question I have is how many MS companies should I register with.
There are over 30 companies listed at the top of the forum and the one I started with is not even on that list.

Well, the more you sign up with, the more chance you have of getting work.
Either start at the top and low through signing up, sign up to one as you see an alert, or sign up to the ones that we talk about most as they may be the ones who tend to have more regular work.
And if you're able to share the company you are talking about then please do so!!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700
