It was a lot more than quadruple never mind double
I'm going to say no to the first few offers more often :rotfl:0 -
How does everyone manage their visits on a day to day basis? Is it via a diary for example or Excel?
Also do you spend time on a route and try build up jobs for a nice little route? It's not always easy with the fastest finger first though is it, as you end up taking all kinds to fill your diary then find you are all over the place on a specified day.(DFW Long Haul # 240 )0 -

Good old-fashioned filofax works for me! And signing up to as many companies as possible will increase your chances of finding several jobs to fill a morning/afternoon!
Was -8 here this morning, gone up to a tropical -2 now and snowing again. The ice is treacherous outside, so stuck in house with two small children full of colds and arguing constantly....January 2012 GC £296.96/£3000 -

Weeg, my son is in Dowanhill, and he left me on fFriday night in a blizzard (I drove him to the station) he said yesterday it was snowing, but not as bad as with me Dundee. I'm up a hill so worse here than town centre.
I have cinema audits but no way am I going to get out, real trouble getting up my hill friday and it is much worse today.
Incidentally,
I did a job on Friday for RE
Struggled out through the snow etc for a minimal fee. Got back and couldn't get on the website so got up on Sat to do it to see it had disappeared. Sent an email explaining the appalling weather etc to get this reply from Samantha
Hi Shopper,Unfortunatley you didn't move on to your report from the passed deadline so it was automatically removed as it should of been completed within 12 hours of accepting the job as it states this on the job notes, this has now been removed and payment will not be paid.
Interesting spelling and grammar
So, we have to do the job within 12 hours of ACCEPTING IT!
RE always gave until the next day to complete.
Is she totally stupid, or has anyone else had this??????0 -

It is, about a mile from the city centre. We had a couple of inches yesterday and it looks like another 3 so far this morning (I'm gauging this purely by staring out of the window at cars. It's very scientific)0 -

I do it on Excel and build up routes for different areas. This was hard at first and sometimes meant I was losing money if I did not get enough jobs in a certain area.
I'm lucky now as I have quite a few regular jobs that I get on a monthly and bi-monthly basis which means I know which areas I am being paid mileage for. Most of these jobs are very flexible on dates too which helps as I move them about to fit in with extra jobs.
It took me several years to get to this point though.
