Very helpful and very polite.

There is a chap called Paul who is really nice. And a woman called Ami who is not totally with it. Emailed her once and said "I am sorry I messed up a jewellery shop as I visited at the wrong time, my fault, sorry". So she paid me for that visit and allowed me to do it again. LOL.0 -
I like Ami-she's very nice .............and I think it was rather kind of her not to "do a Samantha" on you
I wonder if Samantha is new-I've not come across her before -might explain why she's done something so different to everyone else at RE... EDIT.Oh maybe I have if it was a hotel ?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I've just checked on their jobs to be allocated, and some of them now say to contact Dee if the weather is bad, so I've emailed her explaining how unhelpful and unsympathetic I found Samantha.
Will keep you posted, but if we have to now submit within 12 hours of allocation how is that to be done?????0 -
What about CATALYST and MARKET CHECKER? Visits regular? Damn! At this rate, I am going to have to look for something else to keep me pre-occupied.
I've only ever seen one client on Catalyst and I've done my local stores several times. My children are getting various battery operated toys from Santa this yearRobert_Roberston wrote: »How does everyone manage their visits on a day to day basis? Is it via a diary for example or Excel?
I use Outlook calendar, then I've got Active Desktop Calender that pulls the data out and displays the next few days down the right hand side of my screen so I can see at a glance where I'm going.
I try and do a north of home day, south of home day etc., and can usually build a few jobs into a route.
I managed to get out this morning and do the audit I had to cancel yesterday. It was -4°C and I had about 8 inches of snow around my car! Had to clear the car and then dig it out. Struggled getting out of the street and out of our village. Main road was down to one lane with everyone following each other slowly in the tyre tracks. Supermarket car park was chaos with cars just randomly dumped!
Store was full of complete idiots dallying around having huge debates on which selection boxes were best value or if they needed margarine as it was on BOGOF and they might do some baking, but it depended on the offers on cakes further round etc. Loads of small children dancing around, old people randomly stopping so I nearly crashed into them and men "parked" making it really difficult for other people to get past or see fixtures.
Finished the audit and slowly drove back home at a balmy -2°C.
Think companies should pay us danger money for going out in this weatherHere I go again on my own....0 -
Weeg, my son is in Dowanhill, and he left me on fFriday night in a blizzard (I drove him to the station) he said yesterday it was snowing, but not as bad as with me Dundee. I'm up a hill so worse here than town centre.
I have cinema audits but no way am I going to get out, real trouble getting up my hill friday and it is much worse today.
Incidentally,
I did a job on Friday for RE
Struggled out through the snow etc for a minimal fee. Got back and couldn't get on the website so got up on Sat to do it to see it had disappeared. Sent an email explaining the appalling weather etc to get this reply from Samantha
Hi Shopper,Unfortunatley you didn't move on to your report from the passed deadline so it was automatically removed as it should of been completed within 12 hours of accepting the job as it states this on the job notes, this has now been removed and payment will not be paid.
Interesting spelling and grammar
So, we have to do the job within 12 hours of ACCEPTING IT!
RE always gave until the next day to complete.
Is she totally stupid, or has anyone else had this?????
I've had responses from Samantha before and she is clueless!
Get on the 'phone on Monday AM and speak to whoever is in charge of the job.
I've had a similar experience yesterday. Got an email from Jazmyn on Saturday that was pointless.
I'd sent an email to the allocator but Jazmyn replied with some inane answer.
Told her that if she didn't know what she was talking about to not bother responding :cool:0 -

Had another audit to do and there is just no way. Also had 2 mystery shopping jobs in Bishop Auckland and Darlington to be done today which I'll have to ring about on Mondya.
I think its unlikely I'll be able to get off the estate now and think the children's school will be closed on Monday.
I hope the companies are understanding.
Looking forward to sledging and snowman building tomorrow!
D.
You must be so close to me, i'm on the outskirts at the top of a hill, Sunderland South.

I had Jazmyn on the phone yesterday three times but she had left the answerphone on so when I tried to call her back I couldnt speak to anyone!! So will now have to email them as the main road up to the job is blocked.
GFK had people manning the phones all day yesterday - spoke to a very nice chap who asked if I could please do the job allocated for today as it was critical and he would move all the others for meResult!
Went out and did it today (then wished I hadnt as it was -10 here last night and has only just started to rise above -5 as the snow is coming in  Hats off to Asda home delivery this morning though who got here with all my shopping :TFree/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0
