Mystery shops all done for today! Went into town at what I thought was an early time, but the car park was already almost full. Note to self- do not take any more shops in town centres before Christmas! Can't be doing with fighting the crowds! Had a heavy snow shower here but it hasn't settled on the roads, thank goodness. Was supposed to be doing an audit today but can't as they didn't send me the audit form and only realised late last night Have left a message for the company but there isn't much more I can do. Feel bad though as the results need to be done by Monday.

Seems like this thread's busier than usual compared to the usual activities on a weekend. I take it most of us are stuck at home? Too scared to go out today as my partner fell over 3 times last night due to the slippy pavements and hurt his arms and hands when he used them to prevent his head from hitting the floor!

Had about six inches of snow overnight and it was snowing this morning and -2.5°C outside. A neighbours car couldn't get out of our street and police said on the radio not to travel unless it is urgent, so I didn't go out.

Had to cancel my work for today. One job can be fitted in within the next 10 days or so, but the other one had to be done this morning. Not heard from the company so hope they are ok about it.

Eldest was tagging along and I was going to take him to the Sunderland club shop to pick a present for his 14th birthday which is today, but we've had to postpone that trip too.

Those letters used to really annoy me as it seemed such a waste of money and of course somehow I was going to be the one paying for them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm hoping to get my pub quiz written today so I can do my cinema visit tomorrow, cos I really don't want to go there today! May end up cancelling.

Does anyone know what the company who can not be named are like when you cancel something that has to be done today? I have an audit to do for them, but the snow is putting me off. Tbh I can't decide if I am just being a wimp cos I get really scared driving in snow!

I'm soooooooo ill!

Suddenly came down with a stomach virus last night and I've been desperately trying to get better - antiemetics, boiled water, sleep, a hot bath... I haven't eaten for 24 hours. But it took me half an hour just to slide my bum down the stairs earlier

So I've just had to release tonight's nightclub assignment on RE (hate to do it), and will now figure out how to release the computer job with React. It's my first scheduled job with React - will they go nuts or take any others from me? I've got two next week I'm looking forward to!

I would ring one of their mobiles and get a hold of them.. they really depend on shoppers.

If a company called you for a job to be done today or tomorrow, would you automatically ask for an increased fee. I'm kicking myself that I didnt do this recently. I was caught off guard and was at work so I couldnt really speak.

They are not very nice when you do this. I had to cancel an audit last year because of car trouble and got a nasty text calling me unprofessional!
