Personally, I trhink it's time for people who experience RE's silly proof reading/non-payment issues to start writing to the head office of the client in question - I think it's the only way RE will learn.

Why bother mass emailing when they have already got special shoppers they allocate everything to!

So that they can ensure they have all visits covered! I understand your frustration, but it makes absoloutely perfect business sense.

I am aware of a mystery visit to a hotel in Salcombe for a couple. If anyone is interested, please PM me and I will send you details.

If this is inappropriate, please let me know and I will remove it. I'm only trying to help people.

And if you prove yourself reliable on the odd occasions when you do get offered work then eventually you might be a favoured shopper. We all have to start somewhere.

  • Hello. Both of these companies only have sporadic work - you've just missed a big upload on retail active (jobs all gone now) and I only get job offers from MCE once in a blue moon! So no, you aren't doing anything wrong! :)

Thanks! I am still gettign used to the portals that they use and am finding some of them difficult to work my way arund. i woudl have thought there would have been more available in a big city like Nottingham :(

And how do I go about doing this? Jumping out of a plane? I have done 6 visits for them in the past that people have dropped at the last minute. I have done my reports straight after. Now if that ain't reliable, I don't ****ing know what is!!!

I have not received my buy back invoice either. I want my money! Got an email last night about new visits they have. I replied within 10 seconds as to which ones I wanted. She replied 3 hours later saying sorry they have all gone. Does that mean people emailed her back before I did, i.e. 3 seconds after the email came? I don't like that company. Why bother mass emailing when they have already got special shoppers they allocate everything to!

Also, does anyone have a telephone number for Bare UK? Is there a restriction as to how many jewellery visits one can do?

I never got the chemists or the cinemas, despite doing perfect work for them previously. Can't believe many people in Dundee would have beaten me to it and they're not worth travelling for.

    Re RE
The proof reader one that deals with my bit of Scotland seems fine. I've never had a daft proof reading and no sign of the email either. (YET):rotfl:

There isn't a proofreader that deals with a specific area, they all go into a pool and theoretically anyone can pick them up once released.

Seems to be the way with BARE, I had all rejected for months, then had 3 computer jobs accepted recently and had to scratch my head as to when to do them all (as I was doubtful I'd get one let alone three!)

Well, perhaps I've just been lucky then, as I can't believe I do a better job than some of the experienced people on here...
