  • Nothing here for me. What does the email say?
  • Has anyone received invoices for the covert buy backs last month? I completed 2 where the product wasn't even stocked, does this mean I won't get paid for them? (never done them before). Money in for the regular work today.

    Many thanks

No RE email here either. Could someone who's received it pls post it here?
  • is anyone else thinking "Why bother?" after reading the gyp email about retests every three months? I re-read the email (both copies - they sent me two) to see if I was missing something.

If they're that bothered, they ought to do it the same way as GfK does, with a "qualification" test for each scenario in each wave (these are more meaningful than the RE "tests").

    Dear Shopper,
I am writng to inform you that after a quality review of your account with Retail Eyes, the decision has been made to monitor your account until further notice. This is due to the high number of assignments you have released, that have incurred Proof Queries and have not been submitted within the timeframe stated on the job notes.
The reason this action has been taken is due to our need for total reliability from our shoppers, as we have a duty to our clients to ensure that well written reports are submitted, following the Clients specifications, within the given time-scale and for the correct location.
I will contact you again in due course.
    Kind regards,

Not a round robin then. Now understand your anger.
  • How many assignments have you released? If they are basing it on that I should have got one as I now release everything everytime I receive a silly proofreading message and the number has occasionally been in double figures.

Unless you are clearing and ton or so in fees (not reimbursement) I wouldn't even bat an eyelid and what this woman has to say and I would be sorely tempted to reply stating that maybe she should take the rose tinted glasses off and have a long hard look in the mirror and ask herself why there is an abundance of proofreading queries all of a sudden.

GYP MKII is what they should be called

I had my invoice email a few days ago. Only did one store - and they didn't sell the stuff ! I've always been paid for 'non stocking' stores before.

I have not received my buy back invoice either. I want my money! Got an email last night about new visits they have. I replied within 10 seconds as to which ones I wanted. She replied 3 hours later saying sorry they have all gone. Does that mean people emailed her back before I did, i.e. 3 seconds after the email came? I don't like that company. Why bother mass emailing when they have already got special shoppers they allocate everything to!

Also, does anyone have a telephone number for Bare UK? Is there a restriction as to how many jewellery visits one can do?
