Does anyone know if BARE let under 25s do anything? Every job I look at seems to say you must be between 25 and x and I recently applied for around 15 in one go with no age limit and did not get accepted for one, it's not the first time I've applied for ones with no age limit either and I've never been accepted for any.

I wouldn't worry about BARE, they're apparently not paying their shoppers anyway.

I am eating my words re ISC. They paid me today for an assignment I did 10 days ago. Definitely before Christmas!

Me too, I emailed them my paypal details this afternoon and they paid me in a matter of hours, now I'm seriously impressed! :T:T

Blimey. Over the course of today and a couple of days ago when I got the First Tracking audit for this weekend, I've seen 3 different MS companies doing trailer and advert checks, and a fourth doing a MS at the same cinema. It's a shame they are all for different times though, particularly the trailer audits as the same info could have been used for different companies.
I'd be interested to know who the actual clients themselves are for each MS company. (As a general wondering, before anyone jumps on me thinking I'm expecting people to know or be able to discuss clients! :D)

Wish they had more work. I only get one every 4 months or so. :(

With the cinema for first tracking do I have to do Friday AND Saturday, or either? Still no e-mail, didn't even realise I could access the instructions till I saw it mentioned on here!

If you look at the instructions it gives you between Friday after a certain time up to another time on Saturday. Its up to you when you do it!

Did anyone else receive the email from RE's Suzanne Tudor-Price?

I am furious about this email. It focuses on released jobs, proof reading queries and reports submitted late.

I have only ever released jobs when absolutely necessary (I suffer from a lung condition which flares up without notice), and always in time for another shopper to pick them up before they are out of date. The only proof reading queries I've had have been the stupid ones that we've all been getting over the last couple of weeks, for questions that weren't even on the original questionnaire....or for something I've already answered. Previously to this I never had any queries, despite doing tons of reports. As for reports submitted late.....I've had 2 reports de-allocated too early because I was supposed to wait for a Xmas menu in the post and the allocator couldn't count the correct number of working days! When this was pointed out to them they apologised and paid me for them. The other problem was the business calls where you have to wait for a return call. The proof readers were deducting points for late reports, until the allocator sorted it out, as the reports weren't late at all.

I wouldn't mind but the email was a 'Dear Shopper' email, and not even personally addressed. There was no job title or direct contact details of the person who sent it either. And all this for the bl**dy pittance they pay as well.:mad::mad:

Wouldn't this make it slightly better. Means it's an email that has been sent out en-mass, so they aren't accusing you personally of doing any of the things mentioned in the email?
Take RE with a pinch of salt if I were you! As you said, for the pittance they pay, they aren't worth getting fired up over.

I totally see what you're saying, but to be honest it makes it worse as they should check their details before sending something so accusatory out.

They didn't have any problems with my reliability, report writing or timing when they phoned me last week begging me to do urgent jobs!

I'm not going to lose any sleep about it though as at the end of the day it's my choice if I accept their jobs or not, I'm just disgusted with their attitude. We all know that in general they couldn't organise a p*** up at a brewery. :rotfl:
