Maybe we should stop suggesting them on here for newbies, so that they will not have a constant stream of shoppers who are willing to work for peanuts. I dropped the cleaners job I had with them for next week, as I just don't have anything I really need dry cleaning, and for the fee it's just not worth it. Now I am getting quite a good number of jobs from other companies, I am vowing to only accept an RE job if it involved buying something I actually particularly want or need to buy anyway, as the fees and reimbursements are just not worth it otherwise.
It's just unfortunate that they seem to have the highest volume of jobs I see. Although saying that, I have 4 GR jobs all within a minutes walk of each other in my town centre on Saturday, and those 4 reports together would probably take me the same amount of time to fill in as 1 RE report, but will get me 8 x more monies! :D

  • Ok, this is random but hopefully somebody on here will know what i'm talking about.

I can remember reading a paper. And it had a section in it where people wrote in and if they were 'worthy' the author sent them a few pennies to help out.

Anybody have a clue what paper lol
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
  • News of the world. Captain cash. Thats the only one I can think of.

Thats what i though. But i've looked and the little section where they used to hand out the money isn't there. Wonder if they stopped it.

I don't know what made me think of it the other day but suddenly though, Mummys car!!!! I'm not really one to ask for money as i earn and buy what i require, but then again she did, yobs just decided to set it on fire! Thought i would email and ask him but that article doesn't seem to be active anymore.

Not to worry, sure i will think of something else lol

Was she not insured? Surely she'll get a pay-out from that?

  • Was she not insured? Surely she'll get a pay-out from that?

Yeah, but the fee they settle at won't pay for a new car (she's had it 4/5 years) and she has to pay the remainder of the policy (till Feb) and then buy the new car, insure the new car, (loosing 5 years no claims).

So i would reckon she will be a good few hundred out of pocket and it's money neither can afford.

  • I have just joined Retail Eyes today and have got my 1st shop on Wednesday and wanted to know are they any good?

    There website seems good.

How fast do they pay out after a shop and is it all done by pc for the reports or do i have to write them and send them out?

I am new to doing this so just wanted to ask.
