  • Haha this one had 2 aisles as well but it actually had really small trolleys!
  • Sounds like the one I did today! To make it worse as I went to take the photos a woman waiting in a car outside started beeping the horn, think she was trying to get the attention of her husband who was walking into the shop. He didn't even look but all the staff and customers looked out the window and there I was in the rain, camera in hand trying to get the store front image. The shop was a typical 'local shop for local people' place so I already stood out like a sore thumb.

How they expect us to be covert in places like this I have no idea.

I've inadvertently drawn attention to myself a few times by accidentally beeping my own horn when I've been trying to take pictures!

Totally agree, my visit yesterday was in a rural village and I certainly drew attention with a camera in my hand, although I tried to be discreet. I'm only 5'2" tall so trying to take these photos from the pavement opposite over the tops of cars is difficult, alternatively standing out on the road is a bit too dangerous. Why o why do they need 3 photos????

I think it's for marketing purposes - maybe to put on their website? If that's the case it's a bit cheeky getting us to do it.

However, it's not that much extra to do, maybe an extra 1-2 minutes once you've done the refund/replacement.

I was gobsmacked though - I was sure that I would get challenged in some of the 21 stores I did, but got away with it in every one! So either the staff noticed me and weren't bothered, or I've got a future with MI5...... :-)

I wondered if they needed the 3 photographs to check the windows were displaying the right adverts/posters etc.

This was what I said the other day and i'm beginning to think that this is what it is. Has anyone notice on the runs they have done if the window vinyls have been changed recently? 17 of the 20 I done have all been changed to wine

Can I change the date of a visit I have picked with GRASSROOTS? They used to give you the fieldwork start and end dates when I first worked for them ages ago. Guess things have changed.

You might have to 'phone them to change it.
