Are everyone elses RE (said in a hushed voice to keep them happy) jobs still being proof read pretty quick? I went through a spell of jobs being approved for payment within hours, but this ones being a bit slow, and I'm worried in case it's because the guy was so helpful that he spent ages with me, then ages more at the till, and the receipt ended up being 1 min after the end of the timeframe!
Was only a couple of days ago though so I should really be more patient, but just seems off that they have all been approved super fast lately, except for this one. Not that it's a major loss if not, and after all, it's only RE!!

On a more scary note, I've got my first overt supermarket audit tomorrow and it seems a bit daunting!
But a nice day out coutresy of React on Sunday so :D

Same here, I am still waiting for payment too!

Do you think notes about companies not paying should be added to the first post? I know I would be reluctant to do any further work for them.

  • Just thought it was worth saying that the recent post on the alerts is correct in warning that there are two visits to the supermarket (not a new one btw), but you get paid for each visit, and the brief looks very straightforward! Definitely worth picking up if you live close by!

Don't seem to be any in my area. Can you tell me how to look outwith my area? I have put in a few addresses within a 20 mile radius which I would be willing to travel to, but very few jobs come my way from them.

I think their allocation system shows the job as available to the nearest X number of people, rather than working by radius.
The best thing to do when doing postcodes is to google the postcode for a random shop in, for example, your town centre, retail perk, shopping centre etc and put that it so it should show you the shops nearby.
There was a fair bit of discussion about it a few pages back.
