How about this one? At least the EA is up-front!

Not only do you get beautiful views of the treatment works (it was presumably built for on-site workers) you are in the middle of a railway line triangle.
O M G!
That one wins. It really is *right there*. Then the railway as well. And it's not the prettiest of houses to start with (although I'm trying to buy one that looks like that!)
No way would I live there. You'd have to be a hermit. Is it priced cheaply?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

:rotfl:I know it's wrong of me, but I'm so tickled that the local agents are going to be telling the vendor "Rightmove shows you've had a lot of interest in your property over the past couple of days"!0

Schadenfraud!
It wasn't my intention to have a giggle at people with houses in unfortunate positions. I'd like to think of this thread more as a specialist destination for those properties aiming at a niche market!
Bring 'em in people. Situated next door to a train line, a motorway, a HUGE pylon, a sewage treatment works or Kerry Katona? Bring your Rightmove link; you are welcomeEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Funilly enough it had a lot of interest and sold pretty quick if I remember rightly (we are not close but not a million miles away and it made the local news channel both when it went onthe market and when it sold)0 -

that is awful - railway on two sides, treatment works on the third side of the triangle, and all within 150 feet! Nice!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

This is a lot more than I'd want to pay to live 100 feet from the high-speed Eurostar railway (£500k!):
