I was interested by this house as it's
a) cheap
b) detached
c) decent road
d) potential room for extension
And houses like that don't come up often in that area.
Spent 20 minutes trying to find it on streetview and the satelite images.
And then I found it. On streetview you can see it from the M42 sliproad!
Not such a bargain mefeels, on a motorway island tucked between a car showroom and the M42. Let the dog out for a wee and he'd be halfway to London :eek:
But as it says, speedy links to the rest of the motorway conurbation. You couldn't make it up. Bit gutted though - we could have done something with it

Seems to be parking for 9 cars on Streetview. Probably the people who built the motorway extension.

See this a lot in London; A newly refurbished two bedroom apartment arranged over the top two floors of this period building along XXX Road
being within close proximity to excellent local shops, cafe's and bars.
Close proximity means above the local Indian takeaway, the outside photo was of the back of the 'period building' so you could not see the shop frontage.0 -
A lovely horse stables' small-holding came on the market in West Wales recently for a decent price. At first you wonder why it is so reasonable and then you see the huge pylons that surround the property with, literally right above the house, the power lines running from one pylon to another.This is not financial nor legal nor property advice. No! That's tragic - the interior and location are lovely - apart from the motorway.
I can't believe someone has taken that and fixed it up like that - it's got such a high spec on it!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Fancied this one too. Thought it had a bit of potential to extend. If you look closely though you can see the electricity cables overhead and on the photo of the back garden you can just see the massive pylon just over the bushes. It's literally on the border of the garden. And then there's another one just outside the the village school...0 -
