too many first time posters spamming for me.....go away you leeches....It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
hi, i got a a call from Cash Finace Direct this morning, and was a bit confused as i had left a msg with another loan company to call me back a week before. they said pretty much the same thing to me as the rest of u, that thier lenders wanted to lend me a grand, and that due to data protection they cant pass my details on so i have to ring this premium rate number and after giving my details will get my loan in 3-5 days. i thought mayby they were affiliated with the other loan comapny but was a bit wary of giving my bank details out so i came online & found this thread - thank god!! i would NOT have been happy if i got a high phone bill & no loan, especially just before xmas. and also now i get the feeling they are going to be constantly calling aswell...
id just like to know though, what is the point of this scam????? they are getting ppl to ring the number, not giving out loans & then refunding the cost of the call...?????? so what are they actually getting out of it????? im very confused lol.
thanks for helping me avoid these lowlifes!!!0 -
I just phoned another company called cccfinance who gave me cash finance direct' s number as they said they could help if I phone in the next hour it could be in my bank in three hours. After several attepmts still no one answered but by the looks of it I had a lucky escape. I want to thank everyone who has wrote in about this. I just hope giving the other company my details doesn't come back and bite me :beer:0

hey,
I've been reading all these threads after googling these 'cash finance direct', and thank god i did before i called it! but although i know its going to charge, how many people actually got there loans at the end of it? because im pretty desperate for the money (after being scammed a while back from some stupid fony phone insurance company who legged it with my money)
Also, i don't know if anybody else did this, but i was first contacted by the credit people, who are a brokers and being naive i payed the admin fee of £49.50 for an 'guaranteed' loan and was just passed onto these guys (via a letter that my 9yr old sister could have written)
I tried to cut my losses and just call them back and get my money refunded and leave it at that, but they say because i havnt tried to contact the number they sent me (cash finance direct) im not liable for a refund until i do, this cant be right surely?? im so confused
any help would be appreciated, and i dont mind if anybody emails me on dannysmith12@hotmail.com thanks in advance...

they have been calling me all week, i applied for a loan in january and got declined, cash finance have been calling me every hour of the day, and they gave me the 090 number as well and advised i would be reimbursed, i refused to call it as it would be from my mobile
They called me again to ask why i hadn't called, and i said i wanted to research them on the internet, and also check the number as i work for a telecommunications company so can check it - they hung up and haven't contacted me again, glad my gut instinct took over on that one0 -
i also got one of them calls this morning. just the name alone had me in an inquisitive mode. never heard of these guys (CFD). so before the guy on the line was able to ask anything i told him i need more information on them and i could sense he was reluctant to give anything up when he said "how would you like more info" so i told him to call me back while i google them.
actually what i did out of laziness is just wrote the words cash and finance in the address bar of the browser i use.
what this then does is search for a site that fits the bill but if too ambiguous it will redirect to google. im amazed that it actually directed to this forum with a phrase as vague as "cash finance" especially with the infinite amount of financial institutions/entities out there. just goes to show quite how many people have been contacted by these folk. they need to get a life. with that said i probably would have fallen for post 39 had the postee been able to spell legitimate
cfd dude said he will call back at 11. Out of the kindness of my heart i'll give him untill 11.30. that gives him 20 mins :cool:0 -

Hiya,I had a phone call this morning to say my details had been sent on from last year when I applied for a loan,I told them I was no longer interested because I was made redundant xmas time, they told me it was ok as long as I was getting at least £400 a month and told me to ring a 0906 number,I laughed when he gave me the number, knowing it was premium rate. What kind of people offer a loan when your earnings are only £400 knowing that you have a house to pay for,I was tempted at first but luckily I looked them up first and seen all these posts,so thankyou everybody who has written in, you have saved me from making a very big mistake0

They also go by the name of U. L. D. but the woman wouldn't tell me what the letters stood for so I hung up on her and googled the number 0161 246 0200 which led me back to here.0
