mrsb I'm so chuffed for you!!
What a great feeling having paid off the overdraft. I remember when I got rid of mine and I have never had one since. I don't need one. As long as I keep on top of the figures and the DDs and SOs then I don't have to worry.
Good luck for your next challengeMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Thank you GAP! It's a great feeling isn't it?
I'm not going to cancel my overdraft. I don't think I'll ever go into it again, because I budget so closely, but I see no reason to cancel it.Total Debt Sept 2010 - £24,132.38 / Current - £0.00/ 100% paid

I cancelled mine because I didn't trust myself. I still don't when it comes to that. I budget very closely too but it is easer not having the overdraft because that way I have to stick to the budget. I tend to use the cc for extras (naughty) but I pay it off each month. You must be so pleased though! No overdraft for the first time in 10 years. Wow!Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Well done on clearing the overdraft! :T:T:T
When I cleared mine I reduced it to £100 - I didn't want to risk slipping up and going over the limit with anything but at the same time didn't want the temptation to use the previously massive one I had in place!
Have you thought about joining the £10 a day thread for some motivation with ebaying?Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Interesting - I'm going to think about what I want to do with the overdraft carefully. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

DH is out for the night on Friday so I'm going to use the chance to sort through things and photograph at least 8 things for eBaying.
Hit 43% today.
The interest on the Natwest loan is applied quarterly, the next being tomorrow. It always messes my snowball up but I have my fingers crossed that come 1st October I'll be able to move my DFD to December 2012.Total Debt Sept 2010 - £24,132.38 / Current - £0.00/ 100% paid
