So up another 3% since last time. I've also transferred the first £1000 I've saved for the overdraft back into my current account. Had a positive balance for about a week which was pretty exciting!

There's a lot on this month so it'll be hard to overpay but I'm confident we can reach our target of £935.

Hoping to get some items ready for eBaying too. We have a target of 4 things each to list - DH doesn't like to get rid of things so it might be challenging but a cash bonus would be great.

It was so strange! It really motivated me to keep going with the OD savings. Last month I could feel myself straying a bit and overspending on food etc, but I'm back in the zone now!

It's ridiculous - even if it's broken he has such a hard time getting rid of things. I try to be sympathetic but I don't want him to become a hoarder!

Yep, broken, manky, no idea what it does - he is still convinced that one day he will find a use for it!

Up another % point to 37%! They seem to be coming around more slowly recently, but maybe I'm just impatient.

Haven't done any eBaying yet but it's in the back of my mind and I've been thinking of things to sell. Hopefully we'll get around to it in a couple of weeks, after we've finished some projects around the house.

    Overstretched ourselves this month.

Birthdays, hen parties and redecorating weren't properly accounted for in the budget and we'll be around £120 in the red at the end of the month.

It's not the end of the world as we have money saved in pots for various things and £200 was spent on an interest free credit card. I have the £200 to pay it all off this month, but I may need to only part pay it.

It's nice to have the flexibility although I am annoyed that we've overspent.

On the other hand, £120 would have seemed like nothing 2 years ago - I would have just put it on the credit card thinking I'd pay it off later. At least now I know the value of that £120 and how long it can take to save.
