Sadly not
There are people out there who even believe that ebay have a warehouse.
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

There are people who wouldn't notice it was a scam if the auction actually had 'This is a scam' in huge red letters written across it.
I'm not joking either, there was a case on the unmoderated boards before Christmas last year where someone had their account hijacked so changed the hosted photos to show a warning that the account was hijacked so please don't bid-ebay aware, and people were still bidding .

If you want to play with them a bit more, you could reply pointing out that the person on the Account Review team appears to have accidentally sent you the number for a mobile phone instead of the direct line to the review team - and since you wouldn't accidentally want to disturb someone by perhaps ringing on their day off, you'll wait for them to send you the correct number before contacting them

It's true - there is a university. See here.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Cheeky bu**ers
It's amazing how they can get away with showing people how to rip people off, I presume these courses are popular to all the Nigerian scammer
Have you read the "what are graduates are saying" section on the left hand side
Here is a sample, don't know if these are real statements or someone having a laugh
The University of Nigeria is like no other around the world. They are the first to welcome anyone and everyone who is interested in learning their sound and proven business technologies. I am particularly pleased with the Ebay courses I took at the University. Within days upon completion, I won 25 auctions, received 20 items, and over $17,000US in cash! My friends and family in Canada usually pay for things they buy. But I am different. I get people to pay me to sell items to me. Why don't other universities teach savvy business skills like The University of Nigeria?"
and
"I never realized how easy it is to make money while sitting behind a computer and fax machine. You people were right on the money! Every day I sent between 10 to 50 million emails asking for people to help me transfer funds into their accounts so that one day I can live a happy and cheerful life like them. When they respond, I use my special training that I learned from University of Nigeria to make around $10,000 to $30,000 off each person willing to help. Good thing those British and Americans don't know about this business opportunity yet. I am ranking in the cash thanks to the University of Nigeria. Thanks again for such a wonderful program."0 -
