Stayed in this guest house a couple weeks ago.
Perfectly acceptable, friendly folk.
Nice old pub 5 mins walk serving good food.
£49.50 per night (per room not per person) (£55 then state you saw website for 10% reduction)
£2.50 per night car park.
Transport to and from airport 7am - 11pm
Only 5 mins from airport but not on flightpath so heard nothing during night.

I'd agree-whilst holidayextras CAN have some fab offers they usually sell-out fast! Try searching on the web with the names of small towns nearby-a search in google such as 'bed & breakfast + parking in...'.
That's the best way!
Sometimes-especially if you book in advance-it can be cheaper to go by train (if flight times tie up)-taht way you can have the odd drink on the flight (!)

https://www.fhr-net.co.uk are quite cheap - they are quoting £83 for hotel and upto 15 days parking but i suppose it depends on when you want to stay**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0

We'll be going on holiday for two weeks at the end of August - think total time is 16 days - flying from Heathrow. Our flight is late afternoon outbound, returning early morning. Does anyone know of anywhere that we will be able to park for so long?

friends of ours last year realised that over the summer they would be travelling from prestwick airport 3 times and would go more if the cost of the parking didnt come into it
the overnight stay in the travel lodge down the road plus the parking was way way above the cost of the cheap air fare via ryan air that attracted us to prestwick in the first place.
so they were moaning about this one sunday lunch when a few of us got together and I came up with this idea
we polled other friends and relations about them flying that summer from prestwick and if theyd go more often taking advantage of the cheap air fares , only for the cost of the parking etc
they all said a resounding YES
so I then contacted letting agents in the area
we rented a furnished flat - 1 bedroom - for £300 a month on a 6 month let, 15 mins drive from the airport, £6 in a taxi
there were 10 couples/families joined in the scheme and it cost us it cost us £37 a month including council tax
for that we got not only free airport parking and overnight stays for early flights but went to paris, oslo, frankfurt, brussels, paris again
and venice via stanstead in our 6 months for pennies.
we also had a 2 week break in the flat and did the local scenery and shopping in in ediburgh glasgow etc
if you can get a reliable bunch of mates together it works0 -

Did the landlord know, if so did he/she not mind? What about insurance etc? for the property how was that arranged and named? or was it just all done under one name and used by others under trust? seems like u need very good mates for such a scheme.0 -
we rented it in our name
the landlord knew didnt care as long as he got his rent and it was handed back ok which it was
the landlord is responsible for insurance of the fixtures and fittings insurance also fire
we didnt bother with contents insurance never occured to us
there were family and close friends involved
all did standing orders into my account and I then paid the rent
no problem
were going to rent somewhre in cornwall next year for a year to use as a holiday home for us all
