Hello,
Lunch Spanish omelette ala Weezl, I loved it, DD wasn't impressed. Tea: sausage sandwiches
And too much chocolate while watching SCD and XF
I think I should go and revive my old diary..."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Hello all!
Glad the casserole was nice HB, and Jo, your Thai thing sounds delish!
I raided the freezer for lunch and found I'd got a couple of bits of salmon , so that came out and got marinated in Honey, soy, mirin and rice wine vinegar, with a squidge of tomato ketchup. Gave them a sprinkle of sesame seeds and Roasted 'em in a hot oven. Roast spuds, and some veggies from the freezer. Also from the freezer was some stewed apple and plum - OH (who is the master of such things) made a crumble topping and some custard.....mmmmmm!

I think this is my fav thread on the site and am continually lurking and thinking I'll have to try that!:o
I'm not a great (or even good!) cook but we had a lovely dinner tonight which I thought I'd share!
We had chicken, veg and spuds but what lifted it was a jar of shallot, thyme and parsley sauce from M&S - it was fab!
Am off to bed - sleep well all

*shuffles in*
Morning, how's everyone's weekend been?
Have no idea how I'm gonna work today, I am shattered.
Dizzy, so glad you could make it :j that sauce sounds nice. I noticed when I went into Marks a few weeks ago they had an introductory thing on their new chicken sauces, is this one of them? They looked really nice, with some really nice different flavours, it's just the jar looked a little small for me, I'd have to buy at least 2 as there's five of us here. I think they were half price, are they still on offer?
Right, I'm going to scrape myself up and into action. Didn't do anything last night, I usually get all the uniforms and stuff ready but wanted to go to bed early after lack of sleep this weekend. So clothes to sort out, packed lunches to make. At least my DS is sat here right as reign tucking into a big bowl of cereal....must have been a 24 hour bug
Have a marvelous day, I'll try and pop in but going to be very busy as there's lots to do before the H&S woman descends on me

Morning all, Jo hope it goes well today and that you aren't too tired!
Those sauces in M&S do look lush but expensive!
Yesterday we had another frozens tea, lentil and spicy sausage casserole on jacket spuds, went to my Mums for lunch and she cooked roast beef and then apple and blackberry crumble, was yummy although DS was playing up so mine went cold before I could eat it
No idea what we are having for any meals today since Mr T is delivering tomorrow morning (no slots left for today) will have to have a rummage and see what I can conjour up!0 -
Morning all.
Tea and granary toast and jam for brekkie.
Hope today goes ok Jo and glad DS is feeling better.
I have no ideal what DH is making for tea - I've put some mince out to defrost, we'll have to see how inventive he's feelingThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0
