Good luck with car hunting 365
I found another house that I could go and see but the whole idea of having to drive all that way to see it is rather exhausting at the moment."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Ugh, car hunting. 365 you have my sympathy - we spent ages last year looking for a car for OH - I was utterly, utterly fed up with it by the end. Did find him a nice little citroen in the end though for a decent sum of money! (Well, it was decent once I'd bartered a bit!).🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hope the audit went well Jo?
365 I hate car hunting!!
Had a lovely tea last night - some chinese frozens from last takeaway a couple of weeks ago and some home made chinese frozens along with some spring rolls and prawn crackers we got from a chinese supermarket was scrummy!0 -
Good morning all
365, well done not making an on the spot decision on the car, I doubt I would've been so strong!
DB, your dins sounded delish!
Marru, good luck with the house xx
HB, sorry didn't get round to sample tea, are there any left ovrs
Shoppy, love frozen chinese
Hi to everyone else
Had a nightmare last night, home alone...well kids were in but OH was out...no money and nothing in for tea  I had a tin of hot dogs and had a couple of hot dog rolls in the freezer for the kids then for me and DD1 we had my emergency stash of Birds Eye sliced roast beef in gravy and chips, it was surprisingly yummy :rotfl: DD1 didn't look convinced, but she ate it all
Then overnight DS started being sick, I think he's got the 24 hour bug that's going round cos he's hot then cold. Absolutely exhausted as I've been up since 2.30am, changed his bed 4 times and ended up sitting with him on the sofa cos I'd run out of bedding. Off to the laundrette with the lot shortly.
As I still have no money, I have hunted through the freezer and found a large pack of fresh (frozen) chicken breasts and some red chillis. I have garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce and sugar for the sauce and have rice...all I need is a few shallots and we have a Thai chicken with basil and chillies  it also gives me the opportunity to use some of the basil plant that is taking over my window cill
Hope you all have an amazing day
All day breakfasts on the house here, but save some room later for the Thai chicken!

Nothing like a healthy start to the day! And that's nothing like one...
Sorry to hear about your DS Jo - hope he is better soon. You must be exhausted.
I must admit a fondness for Bird's Eye roast beef in gravy. Haven't had it for years but thinking I might get some now.
The Jamie Oliver pasta thing was great. I'm having a Greek salad for lunch and roast pork for tea. Chicken pie for DS1 (Bird's Eye of course).

What sort of roast pork you having, not the slow roasted variety??

Been out hanging up the washing!
The nuts make it ok then
I'm just doing a tenderloin of pork for me and DS2 as DS1 doesn't like it. I'd like to give your slow roast pork a try someday but I managed to miss the recipe somehow.
