    I'm eating a new Cadbury's bar - Bliss. It's milk chocolate with a smooth vanilla centre :)

I think it's really nice but my tastebuds are a bit shot with this cold! :rotfl:

  • I like the sound of that HB - hope you start to feel better soon.

We had steak pie, mash, brocoli and carrots and it was yum :)

Just deciding if I need a piece of the coconut cake I got reduced yesterday for 23p.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

I like the sound of your food too :D Tho I'll pass on the coconut cake - Victoria sponge or chocolate is the only way to go for this bear* :D

My chicken tagine was a disaster :( i put three lemons in and it was waaaaaay too salty!! ended up getting a non MS pizza which was also horrible, takeaways are a complete waste of money!!

    Jo you okay?

If this happens again, try dropping a couple of thick slices of raw potato into the dish and simmering for a while - the potato is meant to draw out a lot of the saltiness. Worth a try perhaps?

Jo - Choklit spread sarnie on white....mmmmmm, my mouth's watering! :D

OH has rugby training this evening so dinner is always a bit of a mishmash - I've had a sort of bubble and squeak type thing, leftover mash from the fish pie the other night, and leftover cabbage from a stir fry the night before, plus some sliced kabanos sausage mixed in. I put a spoonful of dijon mustard in the mash, and it was rather nice! OH will have an omlette later, with some cheese and another kabanos sausage.

    Hello,

I drove to our new location and back today so am rather pooped. It was worth it as I found a house :j. Need to call the agent first thing in the morning and start the application process. I really hope that my poor credit history won't deter me getting it.

Food has been on the go today, on the way out it was veggie samosa with crisps and smoothie and on the way back Mr Mac burger with hot choklit and fries.

Marru, very very good luck today, I hope the house is yours xxx

Pooter has come on this morning but don't think it'll hold out for long, plus I need to get ready for work.

HB, hope you are feeling better now?

Tea last night was sausage in crusty rolls, I couldn't be bothered and I was a bit late getting in, boy was it yummy :D

Tonight will be fresh meatballs and pasta.

Lunch will be corned beef sarnies.

Oh and brekkie will be fruit loaf :D

    Chow for now diners

  • Morning Jo, glad to see you back again, hope you can get comp sorted!

Last night we had fillet steaks with homemade pepper sauce, chips, onion rings and garlic butter fried mushrooms for dinner as it was our anniversary, it was lush!!

Today however the diet begins so will be having something boring and tasteless:rotfl:
  • Brekkie was a mug of tea again, with biscuits. I really need to get myself sorted in the mornings for something healthier :)

Jo - glad to hear that you're doing better on the food front now - do you think there is a possibility that you had picked up some kind of lurgy and that was making you not feel like eating? Your meatballs & pasta sound delicious - I spotted that Mr T's and Asda both had yummy looking meatballs as part of their "3 for £10" meat offer - and as I reckon I could get two meals for the two of us from the pack those might get bought at some point! :D

Pen - I'm halfway with you oin the breakfast - had the mug of tea, but no biccies! (yet!)

Shoppy - Lush sounding dinner indeed, and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Oh, and if you're already thinking that the healthy eating plan (less negative than "diet") is going to be tasteless and boring, you've failed already! ;)
