Just got back from a randon drive. After 6 years living here we still find lots of roads we haven't been down. Found a farm shop down this particular road and have got red cabbage, corn on the cobs, bramleys, beetroots and clotted cream!!
So tonight folks it's sausgages (posh reduced from waitrose), mash and red cabbage. Followed by apple crumble and cream. Naughty!

Hello!
I have some chocolate swiss roll (reduced to clear for 50p) to have with cup of tea after DD has gone to bed. Tea was rubber chicken made into toasties with some cheese. I might be able to serve last of the chicken tomorrow with some cheesy potato vedgies (sp?) and garlic bread.

Mais bien sur......
VERY simple....
peel core and chop as many cookers as you want. I thinly slice mine, but I don't suppose it matters. Add a splash (probably about one tbs per apple, really not much) of water, then sprinkle sugar over it and add ahealthy squeeze of lemon juice. Let that simmer until you have the correct consistency. Keep tasting and adding sugar, water or lemon as necessary, whether too sweet or too tart.....
You really can't go wrong with it. :cool:Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh
