Vile weather,thought it was going to be better this afternoon here,Met Office wrong again.

Jo your OH dosent know how lucky he is,he ought to go on wifeswap,with one of those no cleaning no cooking types of wife!:rotfl:

Hello,

No pork here but had lovely steak in a pub, DD had cottage pie. I really must stop spending money I don't have eating out and buying ready meals but there is so much going on that I don't seem to be able to get myself organised enough to cook.

No Jo - we are not going to move together. But we will be lots closer. I found a cottage but I am not sure that the location would work. Will try to arrange viewing for next weekend. Problem is that when something good comes up it goes quickly and I am not in a position to go and view during the week as it is four hour drive for the round trip.

Nothing for tea here as the lunch was late and we are both stuffed. We went to theater and it was brilliant. It was aimed for kids but I truly enjoyed it myself.

pork is almost in to the last hour here. Making my apple sauce and just about to boil me spuds and use the rest of last x-words goose fat from the fridge

On another note, just chucked kids in bath....there is nothing like unwrapping a new bar of imperial leather soap, sniffing it in and reminisising about my perfect childhood, I am one lucky girl, RIP daddy xxxx not morbid, just thankful

SRP eaten,hardly any left!turned out a treat,did have to put oven up high at the end to finish crackling,wonder if I didnt salt it enough.Made my gravy thicker than the recipe and did potatoes in goose fat.

Not enough meat left for tomorrow,dog can have it.

The bit I like the most is turning off the extractor fan,means no more cooking today.:T

Feel a bit rough after the flu jab yesterday,going to watch TV all evening now.

I'm currently being thrashed at Wii Band game by the teenagers - not sure they think much of my drumming style!

Tea was burgers and salad with apple pie for pud (all shop bought though, wasn't in the mood for baking).
