The SRP (love how it's even got it's own abbreviation now) was delicous. As I kind of guessed the time for the weight I reckon another hour would of made it even better but it was great nevertheless. Got loads left and reckon it will be great in sarnies/salads etc.

Even let the dog have some!

    Your 'mix' sounds great Jo.

Sublime, you must make it next Sunday as that's the next SRP appreciation day ;) thanks for popping in :D

365, so glad you enjoyed it :) it's lovely cold the next day with mash and pickles....there's rarely enough left the next day for me to ever do that though, wouldn't mind, I usually buy one to feed 7-8 people and there's only 5 of us...and 2 of those are little :o

Pork will be going on in 20 minutes, washing sorted out into piles and I'm off to Mr S' to buy my pillows after the high bit of the SRP is done :D

Hope you all have a lovely day, porking or otherwise :rotfl:

    xx

  • A few cups of tea later and I'm up and about now. Have just been to Mr T's as I forgot the chicken for DS cooking at school tomorrow (could have been nasty ).

I think we will have some pasta and a tomato&whatever sauce for launch.

It will be burgers, rolls and salad etc for tea as I think I'm feeding at least two teenagers (anything to keep them out of McDonalds).

Jo, I'm down in the south west. Rain has almost stopped here but its really windy. Its going to be a day in for us until I pick up DS later.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Pork is on and shall be turned down in 20 minutes then I'm off out the door pillow shopping.

    No. :p :rotfl:

I like fantasy, and the colour purple.

I haven't got around to getting a cooker yet in my new place, but as soon as I do, pork will be on the menu. :j

Mrs BHB is currently making Pumpkin Soup :D

She fed the goats this morning and came back with a pumpkin out of the veggie patch :)

She's roasting pieces with garlic and then is going to blitz it all together with chicken stock ....lubberly - though can't smell the bread rolls yet though :rotfl:

    Have a great afternoon everyone
