You have a choice really, either cook it for less time, or cook it on a lower heat, i.e. gas mark 1 or 2 i/o 3? (I don't do electric :D)

I'd prob cook it on gas mark 2 for 4 hours (or rather 1/2 hour on high, then 3.5 hours on low iykwim)

    Oh so want pork :(

Is it for today or tomorrow?

Today. I think I'll do the hot bit then 4 hours and see what happens! Thanks Jo.

Just bought all the bits and bobs, and pulled some garlic from the garden.

Anyone got a easy, good recipe for apple sauce....can't be that tricky surely.....

Delia does an amazing gammon joint recipe...boiled then roasted. I got it out of her book but may be on the website.

Lurky's your man, he's not online though, lemme alert him for you by PM, you never know he might step up in time. He gave me a great method and I would tell you but I've lost that recipe he gave me too....as well as the Nachos Lurque and prawn cocktail :o
